My front brake pads are worn enough that I'm going to replace them soon. I just put a set of the top of the line Autozone Duralast pads on my JK and I really like them. But they don't have those for the JL.
Any recommendations? OReilly has some Wagner OEX pads that look to be long lasting...
I saw one of these at an RV show and thought it was pretty cool! Just curious if anyone has one and what they think about it.

Both of my sun visors have begun to slip out of their mounts. they ordered two new ones and will be installing them tomorrow. Anyone else have this issue? The Jeep is 5 years old with 75k on it. I don't think they've had severe duty other than bouncing around off-road a bit. When folded up...
White is preferred. I don't need fender liners, as I'll just use the ones I have.
My wife doesn't like her black flares. We'd be willing to trade those plus cash if someone wants black flares. They are in perfect condition with only about 12k miles on them.
My wife has become fixated on swapping out her black flares for painted ones on her white Rubi. I really like the black flares and think it is a more traditional Wrangler look. But we were at our son's baseball game yesterday and she kept staring at my Jeep, which has painted flares, and...
This is a pretty detailed description of our Pentastars and how they are different than previous versions. It's a fascinating read. There may be some more tweaks and changes to the Etorque version, but If so, I'd bet they are very minor.
Enjoy!

I did our 2nd oil change on my wife's 2021 JLUR today.
Out: Walmart Supertech Advanced Full Syn 0w20, about 4600 miles on it. Mobil 1 Filter
In: Mobil 1 EP 0w20, Fram Ultra filter
I'm settling into 5k intervals, so this oil will take it to 15k. I sent the Supertech in for a UOA. It'll...
I'm looking for a lift for my wife's JLUR that is a little less than the nearly 3.5" the Mopar gave to my Jeep. The Dynatrac Endurosport 2" lift looks like it has the smooth ride (Fox shocks) similar to the Mopar, but gives you a true 2" of lift. My wife doesn't want to climb up quite as high...
Are either one of these a little less of a lift than the Mopar lift? The Mopar is labeled as 2.0" but mine actually lifted the Jeep more than 3.0" .
I'm wanting to lift my wife's JLUR at some point, but not as much as mine. I still want to run 33's on it but I'd like about an inch less lift...
As we in the off-road community have rapidly adopted GMRS as the primary means of 2 way communication, there are some norms that are appearing to take shape, to help make the experience more user-friendly and easy to understand. Awhile back, NotaRubicon on YouTube proclaimed channel 16 as the...
Home Depot has a nice 290 piece mechanics tool set for $150. I'm thinking about that for my 18 yo son. I don't want to buy really expensive tools because he'll abuse and lose them. But I want a solid set to start him off that is a good value. This looks like it is on-par with a $200 Kobalt...
I have a friend with a Sky One Touch rack and he wants to know if the Mopar or Thule style cargo racks that fasten to the gutter are ok for that top. He has a kayak he wants to carry on his JL.
Any help is appreciated!
I finalized a deal today to finally get my wife out of the people hauler business (we have 9 kids), so she said good riddance to the trusty Ford Transit 15 passenger van. Monday or Tuesday she'll be picking up a 2021 JLUR!
We bought it very slightly used with only 4600 miles on it. The first...
Teraflex Nexus EF 2.2 Fast Adjust vs. Fox Racing Series 2.0 ATS. I want one that is adjustable. From what I've seen, the Fox has more adjustment and a remote reservior, but several reviewers have said the bracket has to be bent to fit it. The Teraflex has only 3 adjustments but the fit...
I've installed a set of Rancho geometry correction brackets on my JLUR with Mopar 2" lift, with the goal of increasing caster slightly and also the other benefits (ride/handling) that come with them.
Can someone with these brackets tell me if going to the upper hole will reduce caster, or is it...
I am getting ready to install a Wouxun KG-1000G GMRS radio. I'm looking for ideas to mount it from anyone here who might have one. I'm pretty sure I'm going to mount the faceplate remotely, but I'd still like to see mounts with the whole unit, as well as remote mounts. I want a good clean...
So I installed @Rancho geometry correction brackets mainly to improve caster angle, which I did not measure before doing, but eyeballing it, I think it was not good. I'm running the Mopar 2" lift with its slightly longer lower control arms. Before getting a better steering dampener, I'd get...
I'm looking at adding a new front camera to my JL, using the Tazer cargo cam option. We just installed one on my brother's JT yesterday and it worlked perfectly. He used the clutch hole plug to pass the cable through the firewall, which is great for the auto transmission folks. But those of...
Hi Benny,
I had a bunch of brake related warning lights come on in my JK. I hooked up an OBD 2 bluetooth device to JScan and narrowed it down to "Anti-Lock Brake module Internal" , or C2200, which I assume means the ABS module has failed.
I took a pic of the part number below, but I think...
