  1. Fuel injection type

It's not direct injection. There are people running catch cans though. Whether or not it produces benefits is like starting another "which oil is best" conversation.
  2. 2020 JL EcoDiesel Dyno Run

No. Dynos measure torque at the wheels and calculate it back to engine torque based on engine RPM alone.
  3. Rubicon suspension on Sahara... FAIL

No surprise, you only moved up one spring number on each corner.
  4. Clutch Recall (FCA W12 | 20V-124) on 2018-2020 JL Manuals [overheating clutch pressure plate]

What's interesting about that? The don't want the jeep to move when dumping the clutch. The goal is to get an instant stall.
  5. Clutch Recall (FCA W12 | 20V-124) on 2018-2020 JL Manuals [overheating clutch pressure plate]

They aren't spinning it. They are reving and dumping the clutch. If it stalls immediately, should be minimal/no impact to clutch. If it doesn't stall immediately and slips instead, they are supposed to replace it. I don't love it and am concerned about the stress in other components, but not...
  6. Clutch Recall (FCA W12 | 20V-124) on 2018-2020 JL Manuals [overheating clutch pressure plate]

The detailed repair procedure finally indirectly explains the root issue. It seems to be the wiring harness clip causing damage to the low pressure reservoir hose that feeds into the clutch master cylinder and thus allowing air in the system. It doesn't appear that any wiring harness has...
  7. Dumping factory fill. What oil is everyone running?

Here is one place where you have a disconnect with reality. They (FCA) need to prove nothing to deny a warranty repair. They deny warranty claims all the time with no proof. If you stop spamming amsoil long enough to read some threads, you'll see what I mean.
  8. Dumping factory fill. What oil is everyone running?

The owners manual you didn't provide a link to? In my experience manufacturers *require* you to use an oil that meets their specifications. This still is very different than a recommendation. For a example, my Alfa QV recommendsled penzoil or Selenas depending what region you are in. There was a...
  9. Dumping factory fill. What oil is everyone running?

Nearly every brand is on that list. I know you understand the difference between being approved and recommended, but since you want to be pendatic: the word "recommend" is not even in the document you linked to.
  10. Dumping factory fill. What oil is everyone running?

Being on an "approved" list with 100 other brands is not what I would call a recommendation.
  11. Clutch Recall (FCA W12 | 20V-124) on 2018-2020 JL Manuals [overheating clutch pressure plate]

My question is also about the point. Since you've gotten a good look at everything, do you see where the harness could be the cause of slippage? e.g. could it interfere with the linkage? I wouldn't think their "fix" would simply be to prevent a fire when the trans self destructs. In their...
  12. Clutch Recall (FCA W12 | 20V-124) on 2018-2020 JL Manuals [overheating clutch pressure plate]

I've followed this thread pretty closely, but perhaps I've missed this: What does a wiring harness have to do with this issue? Is the harness interfering with some linkage and preventing the clutch from fully engaging? I don't see any other way for a wiring harness to be a cause for this.
  13. 3.0D What’s your hand calculated DIESEL mileage?

Did you calibrate for the new tire size and confirm it took affect?
  14. Centerforce Clutch Installed on JL Rubicon

Heavier flywheel takes more energy to spin up so if there is MPG impact, which I doubt would be measurable, it would be a decrease. In theory the energy isn't lost, much like heavier wheels and tires, but unless you're a hyper miler you won't be able to get what's lost while accelerating back...
  15. Texas Oracle LED fogs (Sport) $90

Are these with or without halo
  16. EV / PHEV JL Wrangler Rubicon will go 0-60 in 6 seconds says Jeep President

Same guy that's using 0-60 times to pitch a wrangler is also calling it a "car". Out of touch a bit, perhaps.
  17. Diesel Rubicon 3.73 Gearing With Larger Tires?

Ah then I did miss it, thanks. This just goes back to the old misunderstandings about torque vs hp. All 3 powertrains have similar horsepower = all 3 powertrains will perform similarly. The difference being the 3.0 (and the 2.0 to a lesser extent) having more available power at first gear...
