  1. 21' JLR 2.0 Turbo - Build it!

Pffft. Better double your budget. I had $10K in parts before my jeep was even built.
  2. Finally installed, Clayton 2.5" Overland+ with 37s... but wait, there's more....

I am not a professional. But I know what works for me. Factory specs call for 6 degrees. Stock Rubicons sit a bit higher and their caster tends to measure about 5.5. Mine was 5.5 stock. I did some experiments with spacer lift and longer LCAs in the front and was at 7 degrees. HUGE improvement...

  4. Finally installed, Clayton 2.5" Overland+ with 37s... but wait, there's more....

Caster needs to be 6+ degrees. Add a SteerSmart sector shaft brace and adjustable track bars to center your axles.

  6. Dana Spicer Chrome Moly D44 Front Axle Shaft Project (Retaining The FAD)

  8. Metal/Steel Fender Flare Regrets????

I live in So Cal and I avoid what little rain/mud/snow we get. I’ve wheeled in it before and it is fun but not worrh the clean up for this OCD Jeeper.
  9. Metal/Steel Fender Flare Regrets????

Those are some of the best looking ones out there IMO
  10. If you put on bigger wheels do you need to change the brakes?

This thread is not long enough so…. OP no you do not need BLs. Im running BFG KM3s on Mopar rims at 12 psi on So Cal trails and rocks with no issues. Although most BLs are not DOT approved, I am unaware of any law on the books in California that prohibits them or requires wheels to be DOT...
  11. Did Used Jeeps Drop By 23%?

Don’t know and don’t care. My jeep is not for sale and probably never will be.
  12. Dana Spicer Chrome Moly D44 Front Axle Shaft Project (Retaining The FAD)

Im making progress on the same mod. Got the front shafts and had the nipple machined. I’ve now ordered the rear shafts and some cast iron Majave knuckles. Already have the Artec trusses. I’ll need to save up for Ball Joints and truss welding.

I have the RockSports and Im very happy. Im not looking to change them if that matters.
  16. Am I Special Needs? 🤟🤪🤙

Clearly you are F’ing Retarded. I park my JL in the garage and throw parts at it from the street and they install themselves. Sort of…. Three days to install lift on my TJ. Three days to install lift on my JL. SIX LONG FREAKING DAYS to install full TF lift on my neighbor’s JT. Three days to...
  17. Metalcloak ball joints

I’ve been VERY happy with MC parts and service. I will definitely look at these when the time comes. MC has been quick to answer my questions, even in the middle of an install. They have refunded money to me because THEY thought it took them too long to ship an item and they advised me to NOT...
