I had an expedition years ago. I loved that big boat. Sucked gas big time but I didn’t care. It was an awesome mom mobile because I sure as hell wasn’t driving a mini van.

You can cover hinges but not doors. I guess you could lined the doors but you shouldn’t have to worry about this on a new vehicle.

I really wonder if anyone at the upper level is reading the posts in this forum. I would hope they have someone monitoring. May be the Jeep cares people are reporting back to them. They just can’t tell the forum what they do on the other side. Who knows.

“We can certainly understand how this could be concerning.” Ya think?? I mean people pay on average 40-60,000 dollars for a Jeep that is literally rotting away. People are mad as hell. And they have every right to be.

Same thing happened to me when we called to get it documented. They told me they had no openings until the spring . I wanted it looked at now. They said no. too much of a nightmare. My Jeep is gone now. I traded it in because I didn’t want to deal with the BS.

Considering that I never wheeled it’s practical. My Jeep was just a daily driver. Jeeps are very cool but I never used it the way most do.

At least the clutch is an easy fix. The bubbling not so much. I was ready to put the CF clutch in but the bubbling made me move on.

Oh yes I will for sure. But I still love jeeps so wanna keep informed. Maybe I’ll try it again someday.

I think maybe someday i will pick up an old Jeep as a weekend toy.

Got a Mazda CX-9. Was tempted by the Palisade but it didn’t pass the updated crash test so no go. I will hopefully be trouble free for a few years.

Well folks, I traded it in and will be moving on. But I am going to keep up with the forums to see how things go and what is in store for the next model. Hopefully they fix the clutches and bubbling paint by then. Maybe, just maybe... one day in the future i'll consider it again. I just...
