So you saw a couple of $60k Rubicons and somehow arrived at the conclusion that most cost that much. Because you and the OP and a couple of buddies feel thatâs too much money you arrived at the conclusion that most people agree with you? Why do you keep talking about a Lexus? Youâre still...
Why not just use the Ford super duty axles that are tried and true with unlimited information and parts availability. The 60/14-bolt combo is as close to indestructible as you can get. Sure no lockers but the entry price will more than cover the difference. $3k for a junkyard axle is insane.
Who are these âmost peopleâ you speak of? Youâre just pulling shit out of your ass. You have 0 facts to back up your argument. If you donât see the value in a rubicon donât buy one. I paid $46k for my loaded rubicon. It is worth every penny to me.
Uhh, the fact that they sell before they hit the showroom begs to differ. Again you suck at math. Youâre comparing a loaded rubicon to base models of everything else. Just walk away dude.
Well in order to become an ASE certified tech you go through a 1-year training program. Donât get me wrong, there are good mechanics out there but the certification doesnât mean much. Iâve got more time wrenching on vehicles over the years then most of them will ever get before they decide to...
Yeah itâs a pipe plug. Iâm not sure why youâd even think about replacing it unless it was damaged. Whoever gave the OP that advice doesnât know what theyâre talking about. As far as torque, itâs a pipe plug. If it doesnât leak itâs tight enough.
Yup, then they saw my TJ make easy work of obstacles they couldn't dream of climbing with their limited articulation. I don't know how many YJs/CJs I pulled up trails that I had just sauntered up in my "Barbie Jeep" as they liked to call it. Guess what most of them are driving now
