Has anyone running on JL Pintlers with 35s upgraded your brakes? Curious if there are clearance issues with Powerstops or other. I have had no issues with the stock brake system but considering an upgrade. 2018 3.6L JLUR w/ AEV JL Pintlers. 35x12.5R17 Mickey Thompson Baja Boss.

Very True…. Planning on a modest 1.5” suspension lift… that when these 35s wear out…. I’ll swap springs & shocks and regear…. And get those big boys..

My original KO2s finally needed to be replaced. Decided to give 35x12.5 R17 Mickey Thompson Baja Boss a try…. Mounted them on AEV (JL) Pintlers to keep things tucked in as much as possible. No lift yet…. I like what I see and hear while driving…

Ok.. most likely they’re all the same measurements. Which shocks (and size) are you pairing up with the lift? Looking forward to seeing some pictures of it once you’ve got things mounted.

Is this table for the 3.6L engine kit version? Or are all the 1.5” overland kits using the same measurements?

I found a photo of the bracket I used…. The longer piece is used as stabilizer but not certain that it’s actually necessary with the small single compressor. I bolted the ARB bracket that was in the original plastic ARB portable box to the fabricated bracket.

I’ve run the Jeep in Death Valley, Utah, and in the Eastern Oregon deserts in hot weather on multiple day trips and engine heat has never been an issue on the compressor. I will note that the air hose I used to connect compressor to the quick disconnect is showing some light cracking signs and...

I Have no video on the install, just the photos I posted. I had a friend fabricate a simple angled / powder coated plate that bolts onto the firewall that utilizes existing mounting points on the firewall. The other pieces for holding the quick connect are hardware store angle brackets...

Thanks for the feedback. Good thoughts…. I did reach out to Clayton to ask about the 1.5 ride rite lift. I communicated with Dustin (sales manager) who stated regarding the Ride Rite 1.5 “We do not recommend this kit to go off roading with.” He directed me to look specifically at the 1.5”...

Looking at Claytons 1.5" Ride Right+ Lift Kit to put on my 2018 3.6L JLUR. I’d like to move up to 35s now that my original 33s are about worn down. Will be staying on my stock rims and simply wish to keep things “just as they are” as I’m happy with the way my rig handles on road and offroad...

They have been one of my favorite additions.... I bought them specifically because they fit sweetly with the rubicon rock roils. Its a great combo.

This same event occurred to me. Genesis dual battery set up. On the odyssey charger with at 100% charge in battery maintaining mode. Disconnected and started up and got that message. Haven’t seen it since. I chalked it up to the whole stupid Uconnect / ESS system. I’ve had my IBS replaced...
