How do you suppose it's different from the standard Double Oak?

I wonder if it would be related to the number of favorites stored. Like some sort of memory buffer overflow issue. I know that previously I had maxed out the number I could store and since the update wiped it then I don't have the list filled back up yet.

I updated mine a couple weeks ago and haven't had any issues with favorites or random lockups/rebooting since then. Hopefully that continues.

The 2.0 is direct injection, sort of like a diesel, that's why it's so noisy 🙄.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean. I believe that the material is a clear polyester that absorbs the impact of a rock strike. It definitely helps with that, as well as the constant pitting due to the sandblasting affect we have in this region.

Update - I peeled my first layer off last week after about 18 months. The original one had taken half a dozen hits that I'm pretty sure would have broken the windshield. At least three of them have damage into the second layer (and probably the third). Well worth the $200 investment. I'd get...

I updated to 39.6 last night. It kept my presets but wiped all my favorites. I'll see how things go over the next few weeks.
