  1. Rock sliders, finally. Armor-Lite from LOD

These guys are amazing and you're crazy if you buy someone else's product.
  2. Rock sliders, finally. Armor-Lite from LOD

They only turn 90° and lock in. Mine held pretty tightly but I ended up having to slide them on and then line them up with the holes, took a bit, about fifteen minutes.
  3. Rock sliders, finally. Armor-Lite from LOD

Yeah, I'd like to give them a chance to handle it first.
  4. Rock sliders, finally. Armor-Lite from LOD

I'm having an issue with the product and so far no response to my email.
  5. Rock sliders, finally. Armor-Lite from LOD

I ran into the same problem and I'm guessing it's very tough to manufacture these with perfect channels. I had the problem on the driver's side so I just found a place where the cam nuts fit into the channel, which was near the rear, and then slid them forward into position. This took a little...
  6. SARGE GREEN Wrangler JL Club

Believe it or not, Amazon. This is a Warn product and it come in three heights, that one is the mid-height.
  7. Rock sliders, finally. Armor-Lite from LOD

Thank you! I did, I sent them in an email, but I can send them again here if you'd like. Thanks!
  8. Rock sliders, finally. Armor-Lite from LOD

Thanks, man! Yeah, I think that must be the shipping weight because the only heavy part is the steel mounting brackets themselves. The rails themselves are super light. I was easily able to lift them into place to bolt them up by myself. I'd say the rails themselves are around 20-25 pounds each...
  9. Rock sliders, finally. Armor-Lite from LOD

Just a lengthwise slot for the optional additional steps, but I have the optional steel plates on the way.
  10. LED Light option; worth it?

YES! I've had cataract surgery on both eyes and I was starting to think I might have to stop driving at night. Turns out, it was just the crappy headlights on my old SUV. The Jeep's are a whole new world, they light up the night and make night driving easy again.
  11. Rock sliders, finally. Armor-Lite from LOD

The new Armor-Lite product from LOD. I couldn't be happier. Installation was a breeze.
  12. The Important of Painted Fender Flares on Stock Jeep

I prefer the painted fender look and think Wranglers look so much better with it. They both have their advantages and disadvantages. Painted fenders take trail damage more easily while the black ones take UV damage easily, and it's not easy to prevent and/or repair.
  13. Window Screens

I ended up buying the Deepsleep ones, along with their mattress. I haven't had a chance to try them out yet but I'm hoping to soon.
  14. LOD sales or discount codes?

I'm considering cancelling my order and going with something else, it's been seven weeks since I ordered and it's still "processing". I understand that it's a new product but it apparently wasn't ready for market. That, or there's a problem.
  15. Terrible Seats

I used M10x1.5x40mm for 1/2" of lift, but be careful about the head size because it must fit down inside the recess of the seat rail. Also be careful about lifting it too much because it puts the rear bolts at an angle and it becomes unsafe at some point.
  16. Terrible Seats

I just ended up using stacked 2 mm washers for a total of 1/2". This definitely helped but it could still use more tilt.
  17. Stolen 2020 JLUD

The question is moot because Missouri law allows the use of deadly force in defense of property. The MO Attorney General has already moved for dismissal and the Governor said he'd pardon them.
  18. Stolen 2020 JLUD

I'm from KC/Eastern Jackson County and I do remember this.
  19. Stolen 2020 JLUD

Not true in Missouri, one can use deadly force to protect third parties and even property. Criminals injured while committing a crime can not sue and the family of criminals killed while committing a crime can not sue. https://revisor.mo.gov/main/OneSection.aspx?section=563.031 This is the one...
