Went to more of a slider step. All hardware included. Has a spot that could use rust-oleum from rocks. I only see the one spot with a quick glance. Yes they are dirty but they are also cheap.
$100 pick up only in Clarkston.
I just put them on yesterday so I cant say anything about how they hold up. I can say though, Im really happy with them.
The install was straight forward and I managed it by myself. The fit is perfect. Finish seems to be well done. They are sturdy and dont budge when I stand on them. I really...
Im not in a huge rush so I can make adjustments and postpone the ramp if need be. It's under 10 minutes away from me at the local ORV park.
Any recommendations on adjustable stops?
Im almost to a point that Im happy with it. Once this gets squared away I’m down to a very short list of mods. I dont wheel anywhere that difficult and dont have 2 weeks to take of to Moab etc which is kind of why I dont really want to change lifts.
Im sure its rare but I actually like the...
Thank you for the great explanation. Im going to call my local dealer tomorrow and see if they have a set of high top fenders. If not I’ll have to order them from Quadratec.
Yeah based on those pics, the flares look like the place to start. That adds quite a bit of clearance.
Based on running 35’s on sport axles with no rubbing, Im betting swapping fenders, combined with the D44 axles, wouldnt have any rubbing. Thats probably where I need to start before introducing more driveline issues.
Looking to pick the brains of some of the more experienced members here. I currently have the Mopar lift and am running 37" KO2's on a -12 offset wheel with 4.5" backspace. Im going to test things out next weekend on a ramp but I'm pretty sure my sport fenders are going to rub and the rear...
Got the new sliders installed today. Went with Smittybilt SRC Side armors. I had the Rough Country steps and they caused me to get hung up on the leading edge a few weeks ago at Holly Oaks. That was the end of those.
Packaging was insane, in a good way.
The install wasn't awful and I was...
Thank you! They look really well built and should be able to take a pretty good hit. The packaging was absolutely incredible also. Ive never seen a part packed like that.
Finally took off the Rough Country steps. After getting hung up on an obstacle a few weeks ago I was on a mission to find something to replace them and decided on the Smittybilt SRC side armors.
I was going to do the LOD destroyers but a) really didn't wanna drill into the frame b) little on...
Im not sure what they are charging for the 8.4 but you may be better off looking for a 2022 take out on here. I got mine for $900. The reason I say 2022 is they are already updated and the delamination issue was supposedly fixed.
Over the 7" its a pretty large upgrade. CarPlay in the 7" is shrunk down to an absurdly small screen. Off road pages is extremely useful. Navigation is also a great addition.
In my experience, all the buggy behavior people have with stock 8.4's hasn't shown up when upgrading from the 7" to...
Mods Ive personally done would be the bumper and winch just because it gave me the confidence to get stuck.
Mods Ive had done is the axle swap hands down. When I wheeled it with the sport axles I was legitimately terrified and waiting for something to break. Now I can spend a bit more time...
