That's the way I read it too. Sux. The only way DSA is no charge on the Altitude is with the diesel (EXJ).

A 285/70r17 is a 32.8 diameter tire. A 285/70r18 tire is a 33.7 diameter tire. Different make of tire might vary a bit in diameter.

I suspect not as a steel wheel will not likely have any relief cuts on the mounting face to accommodate the stock studs protruding through the wheel spacer. The stock stud lengths are about 1.7” so you would have to go with 1.75” spacers. Near as I can tell from the ET comments these are 4.75”...

Higher lift fenders help out on articulation clearance but not on suspension clearance like lock-to-lock steering interference. Wheel spacers or properly back spaced wheels for that.
