If you haven't already, try a tire rotation and see if the pull persists.
Another step - PITA - would be to swap spacers on the right side from front to back.
Might get the alignment checked first though. Something out of alignment at normal stance might magnify when spacered out 1.5+" -...
I may have missed it, but has anyone figured out the offset/bs of the 20X8 stock wheel? Also, as I recall the front axle is wider than a stock Sahara.
Wonder if it's possible to push the width to 285/295 and the overall height to 33.5-34 - no lift - assuming there are AT tires in 20" that...
Just an FYI. A few other things that aren't obvious unless you dig for them.
1) Wheel width is 8" per the 2020 spec model comparison or 2020 online configurator.
2) Axle width is wider like the Rubi...
As long as nothing has changed since 2018 wrt to JL wheel stud lengths then 1.75" spacers will completely "cover" the stock wheel studs: https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/lug-stud-length-nut-info.20389/
1.75" inch is what is shown for Synergy, Spydertrax, and others on, for...
Stunning color combination!
Have you had a chance to figure out the wheel bs/offset yet?
Visually with the wider from axles does it look like it will take wider/taller rubber? I figure the 3.73 gearing will mitigate any performance loss due to bigger rubber for those that end up going that...
It means your tire will potentially (likely) stick out further beyond the edge of the fender than stock. Conformational pic from : https://www.rimsntires.com/specspro.jsp
Note that it says tire/rim combination will stick out 1.4" inches further than stock. That does not mean the tire will...
I suspect not as a steel wheel will not likely have any relief cuts on the mounting face to accommodate the stock studs protruding through the wheel spacer. The stock stud lengths are about 1.7” so you would have to go with 1.75” spacers.
Near as I can tell from the ET comments these are 4.75”...
Just curious for those oy waiting on High Altitudes. Are you now getting a 2020 or a 2021 at same price?
Seems to me that model in particular had the most changes/differences to already existing or even new Saharas and variants: Interior (seats, stitching), painter exterior bits (mirror...
I wonder what a sticker delete option would go for? That's right - charge for doing less. One thing I LIKE about the Sahara Altitude is that it has virtually no stickers. Rubicon hood sticker delete anyone?
Want to use the towing package (and full factory LED package) 4 pin connector to add a light bar of some sort to a bike rack. Does that light bar - or separate lights for that matter - have to be LED or can it be incandescent (1157)?
Thanks,
Pete
Higher lift fenders help out on articulation clearance but not on suspension clearance like lock-to-lock steering interference. Wheel spacers or properly back spaced wheels for that.
Just a swag from me, but spacers are generally used to address clearance and/or looks - and I assume more for looks and matching the front.
I have never heard of adding spacers to address clearance issues in the rear assuming, that with 12.5" width 37", you have reasonable BS/offset...
