  1. Jeep Accessories - Any that are NOT made in China?

This. I try to buy American whenever I can. It's not that easy though sometimes especially given that as Americans, most of us just want to pay the least and get the most. Until that attitude changes, things will frequently be "Made in China" .... or wherever the next cheapest place becomes.
  2. 2020 JLRU 2.0 Engine Ticking

Can't play it... seems Windows 10 PC's are missing whatever codec you used.
  3. New bumpers

Most non-oem bumpers look like they belong on the JK, not the JL. So I'd advise searching for a take off instead. Obviously looks are subjective, but very square lines on the aftermarket JL bumpers (probably easier to stamp out?). It's unfortunate that AEV's are not available yet.
  4. Bought at Criswell and used their financing - no pay-off penalty, but risk of losing 2% discount post-sale? How?

I don't think they can claw it back. That being said, these deals will go away if people continuously do that. I'd compare the deal based on keeping the financing for the minimum 6 month period.
  5. Proofread my 2021 Build

3 1/2" with 37's is ideal IMO even w/o the diesel making it sit lower.
  6. 392 Hemi V8 Concept Reviews by Roadshow and Motor1

It really depends on how they package it I guess. The 8 speed really helps around town. Highway will be tough. Cylinder deactivation might actually hurt in some cases. Flat roads 65-70 is probably the only real use case. I think overall I’d prefer the diesel over the v8– maybe if they do a two...
  7. 2021 Diesel gearing changed to 4.10?

I would have been really surprised for them to go to 4.10's... glad to hear it's just a typo somewhere on the site.
  8. HYDRO BLUE Wrangler JL Club

Not sure... I'm keeping eyes out... I'd assume Oct 1. lol. Dealer told me I should expect to be able to order Hydro Blue in December, so I am planning on ordering a 4 door Rubi in hydro blue with diesel and maybe sky top, depending on how much I actually take my hard top off this fall.
  9. LED Light option; worth it?

Literally wouldn't buy a Wrangler without the LED option for the headlights. The base ones are JUNK. My $0.02, FCA should have included these by default and there should be no lighting option. I drove one without it and it literally feels like a safety issue. My $0.02.
  10. EcoDiesel Petition for 2019 two-door Wranglers

That's the point, they're not forgetting. We're in the extreme minority and they would literally lose money doing this. They won't. There is no business case. We should still ask.
  11. V8 Wrangler Rubicon 392 Concept drive review by MotorTrend

I have never driven a V8 Wrangler that consistently got above 10 mpg around town (hard not to have fun right?). I don't think these results are surprising whatsoever. My TJ was the best... 5.7 Hemi, if I babied it and stayed 60-65 highway on 33's I'd get 15-16 (4.10 gears 5 speed auto with a...
  12. JL Manual Transmission Values Down the Road

There will be no value difference long term. It might be easier to sell quickly with an auto, but that's about it.
  13. Spied! V8 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 Hemi Production Version Begins Testing!

Hope so, though I doubt we'll see the hellcat motor in a Wrangler from the factory. Who knows tho! Maybe they're willing to sell a vehicle that will get 7 mpg on the highway.
  14. Does anybody have any regrets for NOT getting a Diesel?

I think diesel would have been ideal just from a standpoint of having large tires and not noticing much of a mpg hit or power loss through mountains. No regrets though. It would have meant waiting two years.
  15. No Lift Off-Roading People

Yep, I drug XD -- but mainly in Golden Spike which calls for 35's (I don't think I drug once any other trail?). I don't care though that's what it's built for... just rock rails and skid plates anyway. No damage. Could turn the vehicle in after the lease with no issue. The only sketchy parts...
  16. No Lift Off-Roading People

Did most of the trails thru 7 rating in Moab bone stock off showroom floor. Only upgraded because I plan on doing some of the harder 7's+ next year and probably the Rubicon trail (no experience there, don't want a ton of damage). But I'm switching to running 35's for daily use.
  17. Jeep Wrangler 4xe Hybrid Revealed With 50 MPG-E, 375 Horsepower/470 LB-FT Torque!

So with 37's and a lift.... 10 miles of electric range? lol

Dealership is correct. Tires are not classified as parts. That doesn't make sense to a consumer though, so understand your frustration.
  19. 2021 40” Rubicon Diesel Build

    For sure
