  1. Silver Lake Knowledge

There is a nice little off road shop right at the entrance to the park that sells compliant flags and any other necessaries.
  2. Show the stickers / decals you've added to your Jeep Wrangler JL

Lots of good stickers on here! I started on mine. Decepticon themed. I know it's a little played out but my late son would have loved it. Plus, I think I can do it better than anyone else.

  4. Michigan Dealers with Good Deals?

I got mine at Cueter in Ypsi. Picked it up in April in middle of pandemic. I wouldn't say I got a steal but I got a good deal imo. Their customer service was excellent!

@ORACLElights @Oracle_Designs Any guess on when available? I'm installing the trailer package very soon and would like to install these at the same time!
  6. Trails in the upper peninsula of Michigan?

That pic was taken Sep 28. It snowed the day before. Weather in the Keewenaw is unpredictable. Where you first enter, the sand is very hard, almost like asphalt. I didn't air down until I got stuck, 10psi should work. Beware, no way to air back up for miles. Come prepared. I've heard from...
  7. What does offroading feel like?

It's about the trip and company! You will see things that only people with ORVs (or long walks) will get to see. My first trip in a buddy's Jeep. Hooked ever since.
  8. Trails in the upper peninsula of Michigan?

There are a lot of nice trails near Copper Harbor. Go to copper, then head East. The Bill Nichols trail also has a neat really neat bridge somewhere on it. I'm doing that next time. Have also done a lot of wheeling in Newberry State Forest trying to get to Crisp Point and Whitefish Point...
  9. Black Bear Pass

In my job, we test prototype vehicles, often offroad. One of my coworkers was testing 3 on black bear pass about 10 years ago. One of vehicles broke a tie rod near the summit in late afternoon. He has lots of stories about trying to navigate the switchbacks on the way down! I've never been...

  11. Am I the odd person out for wanting/preferring a soft top?

I also am amazed by the amount of hard tops I see in the summer. I had mine a week before I purchased my softtop. Hardtop for the winter! Softtop was one of the biggest factors in getting a wrangler.
  12. 35" vs 37" Tires (and lift) on a JLRU for Daily Driver at 70-90 mph

Awesome! LCOG is the direction I want to go as well. Your's is the first I've seen that actually wheels.
  13. 35" vs 37" Tires (and lift) on a JLRU for Daily Driver at 70-90 mph

Sean, Can we see a pic, please? What wheel and tires are you running? Do you take it offroad and where does it rub?
  14. Offroad JL Build

Tin Cup trail Drove it for 1300 miles before I took it off road! Really easy trails but the kids loved the bumps (check video). Much more to come!
  15. Offroad JL Build

Supertop Ultra from Bestop. Awesome but a pain in the butt to install.
  16. Offroad JL Build

Couldn't keep the dog in the back (even with tether!) so I added a net. Not about to spend $220 from mopar. $40 on amazon.
  17. How does everyone mount their cell phones?

I use a proclip as well. They are great but pricey. I've used them in all of my vehicles for years. Get the universal phone mounts!
  18. Supertop Ultra Problem with 2020 Rubicon

I also had a similar problem. Mine was so tight, I couldn't even get it closed. It was so bad, I had to remove the cables from the back. That fixed it immediately. I emailed Bestop about the issue and never got a reply. After watching the install video on YouTube, I discovered that I had...
  19. Cargo Net for Cargo Area

I have this same net... but I use mine as a cargo partition to keep the dog from jumping into the back seat. It works great and doesn't cost $200+ like the mopar one!
