  1. Cool or Not Cool Mopar Grill/Winch Guard w/Integrated lights

That looks great, and the look of that exactly is why I wish I hadn’t cheaped out on the metal bumper option. If I end up keeping my lease (signs point to yes) I’ll probably try to source a metal from OEM bumper. None of the aftermarket ones look as good to me.
  2. Who is taking their Jeep hunting this season? (Warning, here be hunting pics)

The JL Facebook group had a meltdown last year when some people posted hunting pics. Figure better safe than sorry.
  3. Who is taking their Jeep hunting this season? (Warning, here be hunting pics)

Yeah I use a hitch hauler. No dead deer in the Jeep.
  4. Colour shopping 2.0 reveals interesting observation

My first JL was bright red and I loved that. My current Jeep is Sting Grey because it is a 4xe, and IMO a lot of the colors don’t look good with all of the blue accents on the 4xe. I think Sting Grey is an interesting color with the flat non metallic, but yeah in general I’m anti-grey on cars.
  5. Cool or Not Cool Mopar Grill/Winch Guard w/Integrated lights

I’ll snap a pic later but they’re virtually invisible on camera, just a little bit right on the edge. Total non issue.
  6. Who is taking their Jeep hunting this season? (Warning, here be hunting pics)

Rifle season opener Saturday in WI. A lot of the reason I have a Jeep is as a hunting support vehicle, can’t wait to get it out there. Who else??
  7. Fully loaded Rubicons, list the advantages.(other than the obvious of course)

My top is off nearly 100% of the time in the summer. And I have a convertible sports car with black leather seats; the black cloth in the Jeep is waaaaaay more comfortable.
  8. Fully loaded Rubicons, list the advantages.(other than the obvious of course)

Moderately equipped Rubicon 4xe here. No leather, no painted panels, no safety nanny’s. And I didn’t want any of those things. I got everything I wanted, except metal bumpers which I should have gotten. Otherwise, very very happy with my spec. (Kept my soft top from my previous JL, so have that too)
  9. Jeep Drivers Categories

I’m a 1 who wishes he lived somewhere that allowed him to be a 2 more often. So more of a suburban 1 who gets to vacation as a 2 a few times a year.
  10. What do we think, northern Jeepers, is it Hardtop Time?

rear visibility, more security, easier access to cargo area, rear wiper/defrost, etc. Plenty of reasons for HT other than warmth. Which the HT doesn’t really provide.
  11. What do we think, northern Jeepers, is it Hardtop Time?

I don’t care about the heat/cold. It’s just not worth dealing with the downsides of the soft top (decreased visability, PITA factor of trunk access, etc) if I’m not going to be putting the top down. Which when it’s cold out, I’m not.
  12. What do we think, northern Jeepers, is it Hardtop Time?

Those are basically the only two times I drive so I’m like “f it”.
  13. What do we think, northern Jeepers, is it Hardtop Time?

The ST is plenty warm, it’s the lack of rear visibility (no defrost/no rear wiper) and the lack of wanting to flip up the rear plastic window in cold weather that’s tough. Also not sure about heavy snow load on the soft top.
  14. What do we think, northern Jeepers, is it Hardtop Time?

I usually jump the gun on switching HT/ST back and forth because I get antsy to go mess around with the Jeep, and I like playing with it. So I’ll probably do HT this weekend and then switch the ST back on in late March/early April LOL.
  15. What do we think, northern Jeepers, is it Hardtop Time?

“Rust belters”? “6 months of sh*tty weather-ers”? I dunno, I just meant to steer away from all the dweebs down south who will be all “hurr durr what’s winter lol”. Maybe I’ll call us “people who will still have fresh water in 20 years” people?
  16. What do we think, northern Jeepers, is it Hardtop Time?

The putting stuff in the back is so much better with HT on. Also, my other car is a convertible so if we get a stretch of nice weather I can just drive that.
