  1. A new customer to Jeep and already disappointed! Received Xtreme Recon wheels with 10 bolts (instead of advertised 25 bolts)

Discount had to remove mine as well to swap tires. I was surprised they didn’t even have the appropriate torx in their toolbox. They used the included tool kit from my Jeep and got the tires mounted and rings reinstalled without a scratch.
  2. A new customer to Jeep and already disappointed! Received Xtreme Recon wheels with 10 bolts (instead of advertised 25 bolts)

I haven't installed the plaque. Its sitting with the rest of the maybe someday parts I have accumulated over the years.:like:
  3. A new customer to Jeep and already disappointed! Received Xtreme Recon wheels with 10 bolts (instead of advertised 25 bolts)

You may have answered this already? Did you talk to the dealer? My first and second 392 came with the wrong tailgate plaque. I did nothing about it on my 2021, but when my 2022 showed up and had the standard plaque, I mentioned it to my sales guy post purchase and a few weeks later the...
  4. A new customer to Jeep and already disappointed! Received Xtreme Recon wheels with 10 bolts (instead of advertised 25 bolts)

https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/xr-wheel-rock-rings-traction-off-road.104495/ Take a look at this thread. No idea what these will cost, but you can fix the issue that is bothering you, and add some customization. I do agree with you that the 10 bolts rings aren't as attractive...
  5. Winch Installer scratched my Jeep!

Good advice, thanks. I am not exactly sure. I had the spacers put on at the same time rockers and winch were installed. The 1” may have been overkill, but I had them laying around from previous JL. I have read other posts where people stated .5”-.75” sag, and I didn’t want to lose any...
  6. Winch Installer scratched my Jeep!

Looks good. I did 1” Tera spacer to compensate for sag. it seems I was wrong and those scratches are common. good call on avoiding the rain! That stuff is a mess!!
  7. How would you handle this with a shop?

I wanted to get opinions on how to handle and if my expectations were unrealistic. This thread gave me those answers. Winch wont see much use, Jeep wont see much if any off road. Glad this has been amusing for everyone.
  8. How would you handle this with a shop?

That’s not at all what I was trying to imply. I agree service should be equal quality no matter what it is.
  9. Iowa New in box white half doors - Rubicon 392 - $4500

Where at in Iowa? These are the right color for me...and IA isn't that far.
  10. How would you handle this with a shop?

You are not the only one to suggest this, sounds like this is common.
  11. Good Reading...CP4.2 HPFP -- How You Can Keep Your CP4.2 High-pressure Fuel Pump Off the Scrap Pile

Glad Ram recalled the pumps on the 19/20 trucks. I had been using hot shots EDT every tank in hopes of keeping the pump alive. I have alot more confidence in the truck since the recall. I will say priming after a filter change is a bit more of a pain on the push to start trucks compared to...
  12. OBD port lock, anyone?

Let me see if I can find it in my order history. That truck was a 13 and its been 7 or 8 years since I bought that.
  13. How would you handle this with a shop?

In the above post I made it clear that I wasn't willing to roll the dice and risk more issues letting them attempt to repair. Why call the shop? Because silence is acceptance, and no one should have to put up with their new parts being damaged during install.
  14. How would you handle this with a shop?

Thanks! Appreciate the post, you get it! Solid advice, but after speaking to the owner I dont feel right blasting them in a review. @PatriotX He offered to take care of the issues to my satisfaction. (unspool line, install abrasion guard, respool, touch up winch and frame) The Jeep isn't...
  15. OBD port lock, anyone?

I have used an OBD port lock on my last Ram just to keep the dealer from flashing the truck (to prevent overwriting custom tunes) It worked as intended although I never tested it, truck never saw the dealer again after it was modded.
  16. How would you handle this with a shop?

Didn’t seem that way…tough group here. He went on about how he was just as picky and would have had to said something as well. Then offered me his discount on any parts I may need in the future. For the record I never did suggest to him he replace the winch.
  17. How would you handle this with a shop?

Not the vibe I was trying to give off. I did say I would expect someone to take additional care with my 392 vs. my TJ. Why? One looks like it has been through the ringer and one does not. One is worth substantially more, one is brand new and practically flawless. To me this is not...
  18. How would you handle this with a shop?

Snobbery? Please enlighten me how being picky about MY vehicle makes me a snob.

I was just as annoying with my previous Jeeps:like:
