  1. Earl and Reign Colors Now Available to Order. First Official Photos!

My original thought was that it was smoke show. Does not look like it will be, different paint codes. Earl is PGP and smoke show is PAE.
  2. Running doorless (is it just me?)

It just creates a crazy wind tunnel effect. The last and only time I did it was on about a 40 mile trip and it was so bad before I went to head home my other half had me remove my rear doors and put them in the back. I don't remember what top if any I had on I just remember being crazy...
  3. Running doorless (is it just me?)

Do you have all the doors off or just the fronts. I tried just removing the fronts a few years ago on my JK and I will never make that mistake again. I see people doing it and I just laugh.
  4. Driving in deep sand - 19 Sahara 6mt with LSD

Drive on DE beaches all the time rarely air down and always run in 4HI never had a problem with my JK or JL. I'll air down to about 20 psi on holiday weekends or if I have 3 or 4 people riding with me just to be cautious but usually find it a waste of time. Really depends on the vehicle and...
  5. So wranglers don't really lose (much) value when used? Does bone stock keep its value best?

Yes absolutely - I run a CDJR store and the residual on a 24S typically runs 8-10% higher than Sahara and Rubicon. Also keep in mind that dealers typically use Manhiem sale data for appraisals. You don't know what options are on the ones that are in the data sample. I always say get the extra...
  6. JLU Rubicon on 35s no lift

No not really - The only drawback to the R/T tire is on rainy/wet conditions. The ATII is def a better tire in these conditions but IMO the looks of the R/T is worth the minor drawback. Also just did a Rubicon with BFG Mud terrains and was very happy with how it turned out. Initial drive is...
  7. JLU Rubicon on 35s no lift

No they're the Open Country R/T (rugged terrain). I work at a Jeep dealership and have lifted over 30 jeeps and this is IMO the best tire I have found for an aggressive look but durable and quiet. I got over 50k miles out of my last set on my 15 JKU and they were still at 4/32 tread depth...
  8. JLU Rubicon on 35s no lift

Nope - just tires and wheels. Had 3" BDS lift on 15 JK I traded. Figured I would try it like this and if I didn't like it I could always install a lift but ended up really happy with the ride and height with just wheels and tires. I may lift down the road when more options are available.
