  1. Diesel Resale Value

    Horse-Cookies. I got a premium for my WK2 when I sold it.
  2. JL Manual Transmission Values Down the Road

I think having a manual transmission is like having a swimming pool at your house. It is just an option that will turn some potential buyers away, and draw a much others. With the 6 speed, your buyer pool will be much smaller - will they pay more? Probably not any more than an auto-equipped...
  3. DEF Usage

(Painful as it is) I have to agree with WXdude here- :giggle: Also: my 2020 JL diesel seems like it is using less DEF than when we first got it, perhaps part of the system learning your driving habits? I think it still uses more than advertised now, but I am usually pulling a trailer.
  4. First Diesel Oil Change

Golden opportunity missed to 'Idiot-proof' the filter design = could have easily made it where there is no possible way to 'Accidentally' use the V2 filter on the V3 engine. FCA Fail.
  5. 2021 Diesel gearing changed to 4.10?

4.10's would be a nice option but I'll only believe it when I see it on someone's build sheet -
  6. Jeep Is Installing Solar Chargers at Moab And Rubicon Trail For New Hybrid Wrangler 4xe

I thought they'd said it takes 10-12 hrs to charge the battery? Says 2 in the article. Because different charger?
  7. Jeep Wrangler 4xe Hybrid Revealed With 50 MPG-E, 375 Horsepower/470 LB-FT Torque!

Then Jeep is not telling the truth (2nd paragraph)
  8. Jeep Wrangler 4xe Hybrid Revealed With 50 MPG-E, 375 Horsepower/470 LB-FT Torque!

Aroo? This is the first I have heard of an I6 Hybrid. Do tell! (see what I did there lol) edit: or are you just talking about the etorque band-aid?
  9. Jeep Wrangler 4xe Hybrid Revealed With 50 MPG-E, 375 Horsepower/470 LB-FT Torque!

How exactly would you charge the battery? Engine will not charge it right? So you get to purchase/install Jeep-proprietary charging system in your garage since you'll have to charge it often. And adapters to be able to charge at other stations...
  10. EcoDiesel Badge

I have never had anyone comment on my emblem, but on several occasions people tried to stop me from pumping diesel into my Jeep at the gas station :giggle:
  11. 2020 JLU Rubicon diesel

    Go to the diesel section
  12. Jerry can filling issues

Actually it was replaced with a modified oem filler neck. Search there is a thread-
  13. Bronco vs Jeep Wrangler mega thread

Good point(s). Taking that cross member out certainly could save weight, but they likely had to add material to what's left of the roll cage to make up for the loss of strength. I would really like to see a 'T-bone Crash' comparison between a new 4 dr Bronco and a Wrangler.
  14. Bronco vs Jeep Wrangler mega thread

I wouldn’t be surprised if the total weight of the Bronco hardtop is heavier than the Wrangler’s because of the additional joints/seals/hardware
  15. Buying Soon: Engine Option Questions...

I drove a 3.0L GC over 100K miles with a long commute, never a single mechanical problem. Now I have a Wrangler 3.0L. I have since moved, the nearest WalMart is 45 min away so when we go to town it is driven a good ways. 8K miles so far with no problems, awesome power, especially for the mild...
  16. 2021 colors?

I would really like a metallic beige/khaki or even a brown (not sure if some would consider them “colors” tho LOL
