I wonder if it had anything to do with the mess of tariffs
Certainly, the port of LA is open so I...
I really appreciate the info! nostatic did that go all the way in? or did it stop short?
I do agree that I find the gap a little odd. Would be nice if they included some kinda foam to plug the hole. I partially want it because I hear more noise with that hole open lol.
The marine one looks...
ESS doesn't really require anything at all, really. Of all the vehicles I've ever seen that did start-stop, only the Wrangler uses 2 batteries. Somebody in engineering was clearly sniffing a lot of glue that day! lol. It is recommended to use a better/higher quality starter motor, since it gets...
Look, don't get me wrong, I think those who want one should have one. but the idea of having that much horsepower in the JL kinda scares me lol. In a charger or 300? Sure heck yeah. While people talk about how those cars are boats, they have the suspension and brakes to handle most forms of...
One of the first Chrysler dealers I dealt with long ago back in the family's 300C days would give free oil changes. About 3 years into ownership, they told me that the car needed a new steering rack because the billows were all torn up. They made a big fuss about how unsafe it was, and how I...
Aw my favorite car (that isn't a jeep) :D
lol I wouldn't take one off road. It's like the worst possible sedan made in the last 20 years for that. It has a 120" wheelbase and sits like 5" off the ground.
The newer ones (2011+) sit a bit higher (and aren't as pretty). Still love them though.
I think an eyesore would be a noisy diesel tuned to produce copious amounts of black smoke. Luckily Jeeps don't come in d... aw crap. But at least people don't mod jeeps to make a lot of noise and produce copious amounts of black smoke yet! :)
I see a lot of people have setups where they sleep in the back or whatever. Could just take a little nap. :D
Looks like there's some downright unfriendly discussion going on in here. Kinda unbecoming of a Jeep forum right? Let's get along.
I _HIGHLY_ doubt they'll cost that much. To give you an example, the Nissan Leaf has a 24kwh battery and if you buy one brand new it costs $6200. You can buy a 'refabricated' one for $2850.
These days, with single/double DIN radios becoming super uncommon, I think the demand for aftermarket radios is super low. I'm not sure they put much money into the software on them.
Ok, there are two ways to look at this:
1. Resale value: Looking at that carvana appraisal thread, and from a little bit of anecdotal experience myself, if you buy a Jeep with $10k in options, 5 years down the road it won't really be worth more than ~$2k above what a base model was. Eg, a...
I think your Jeep looks fantastic! I would have gone for the painted bumpers, given the option. The black ones get water spots if they so much as happen to be in the vicinity of water, and the ones on my JK started fading and looking annoying after a couple of years anyway.
Plus I agree, it...
I had an Anvil JK. It was a fun color but I don't think I ever want a non-metallic paint again.
They also did ceramic blue. Was also a neat color. It's funny how they have the whole range figured out.
Ceramic Grey -> Ceramic Blue -> Anvil -> rhino -> stingray(?)
Something like that.
