  1. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

As @Dyolfknip74 said -- wrapped the Mopar headliner in a checker tablecloth from Amazon. So Canadian, eh?
  2. How does everyone mount their cell phones?

No, it won't hold a tablet, but the center arm is mounted with a standard 1/4-20 threaded screw, so any tripod or ball mount can be fitted to it. Or pull the holder and it's a 17mm plastic ball.
  3. 2022 Wrangler Rubicon - Identify part and reason? Factory error?

Not to hijack the thread, but how are you jacking your Wrangler? The jack goes under the axle, not on the body or frame like unibody-type vehicles. Unless you mean jack-stands...
  4. Post your local gas/fuel prices [WARNING: NO POLITICS]

Paid CA$2.259/l this morning, the highest I have ever seen it in Montreal. That's equivalent to US$6.79/gal with today's exchange rate. It was only US$4.99/gal across the border in NY this past weekend. Easy gas conversion calculator:
  5. 4xe Camping Machine !

I see you installed the airbag valve in the same place that I did beside the license plate! That worked well for the 2 summers that I used airbags. I needed them to tow, but I was also rock crawling, which was very hard on them. One got pinched and the other was bulged inside the springs...
  6. 2022 Wrangler Rubicon - Identify part and reason? Factory error?

It looks like a part that might help prevent the infamous crash test roll-over, where the front wheel gets pushed under the rocker and flips the Jeep... Added: Is there a part number stamped on it? Maybe it's a "Tire Deflector Bracket" P/N 68596661AA (Discontinued)
  7. Axle Locker Sensor issue officially has a fix! Repair kit released

I've had the "Service Axle Locker System" error on solid for weeks now. Finally got in to see the dealer about it, and it turns out I had a damaged wire above the rear diff. A quick repair and some loom to protect it and I'm back in business! I still have the Z-Auto bypass module on order for...
  8. Mopar Perforamance Slider questions.

I personally like the Rock Hard 4x4 sliders for best-of-all-worlds performance. I purchased the angled-down tubes for a better step. They are completely sealed, so no open ends or tubes or plastic caps. That's important in bad salty, slushy Montreal winters. I did not worry about the body...
  9. Grommet from ???

I don't recognize it from the Jeep. It looks like something that might have been from the assembly-line, like @davewald said.
  10. Tried my lockers for first time today...have questions.

4 low is a 4:1 ratio on transfer case output, so even in 6th you wouldn't make it past 25mph. Generally, don't use overdrive (6th for manual, 7th and 8th for the auto) in 4L. The Wrangler transfer case is stiff sometimes shifting from 2H to 4H, but 4H to 4L should be very smooth, though you...
  11. Wrangler JL headlight plug

You can check for the wiring diagrams listed somewhere on the site. The wiring harness and connector details are listed for everything. I believe the halogen connector is only a 3-pin type P/N 7283-8852-30 which you can find on parts sites (and even Amazon). Sorry if it's not the right part.
  12. Anyone Tow a Camper? Size? Pics?

Just a ball. I've never had any issues with sway while driving. Last year I removed the Airlift and installed a Teraflex lift kit on my Wrangler but because of travel restrictions I haven't towed my camper in a couple of years. I'll find out this summer how it goes.
  13. Second theft in 3 months - Do I get rid of my wrangler?

Oh, that sucks and hearing this story makes my blood boil. Are thefts in the employee lot that common? I've spoken to a couple of other owners that had their wheels stolen or vehicle went missing from a movie theatre parking lot (in Laval), but your story tops it. I don't know what advise I...
  14. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Decided to upgrade the look of the front Mopar headliners... I like the result.
  15. Oil change frequency, dealer told me DO NOT use service required alert?

I have a friend who worked for a Saturn/Saab/Isuzu dealership. The garage would let the mechanics do their own oil changes for free and NOT ONE of them would use the oil from the dealership... I'm not saying that would be the case everywhere, but the dealership insisting on anything for your...
  16. AEV RX Bumper and Tire Carrier - My Installation Experience

TLDR, but the housings come off those Fakra connectors. You can pull the tab and remove the black/pink/white housing of the connector and replace it with the one from the OEM cable.
  17. Steering Stabilizer Choice

I'm having the Falcon Nexus 2.2 installed today. Anything is better than stock, especially when it's beaten and bent and leaking oil...
  18. Anyone able to design a logo?

I think @ThirtyOne might be someone to ask. He's done some great Jeep designs.
