Iād stay with existing rig. Leasing is a losing hand no matter how you cut it. You get a new vehicle every few years, but you never OWN anything. Too many folks lease vehicles that they cannot afford to actually buy. A personās better off long term buying a less expensive vehicle they can...
Thatās just wrongš³. A station wagon Wrangler? Thatās a Wagoneerā¦. Still wouldnāt surprise me, take a JT chassis, add a new backend and voila, you have it. Theyāve sold a sh..load of 4 drs, theyād sell these as well no doubt.
I was
a firefighter in a previous life-if they canāt see a 35ā long 12ā high bright red truck covered with flashing lights, our poor lil Jeeps donāt have a chance. š³. Glad you didnāt have any damage.
Youāll find that your Jeep with Limited Slip is a Very capable vehicle-esp with a decent set of tires. Unless you are into extreme rock crawling or serious mud bogging it will do anything you may want to do. And for winter driving it will outperform a lot of āmore capableā rigs (Lockers and...
Iād contact Borla before I did anything else and get a straight answer. If you attempt an install and it doesnāt fit, youāll have a tough time getting your $$ back.
I believe that hardtop with a sunrider up front may be a good solution-I like the open air, but I do NOT like the rear window on the soft tops-Iām in and out of the back a lot for the dog, runs to the hardware store, etc., etc. with the HT access is very easy (yeah, I know the new ones are...
Fully agree. From the start the Bronco has bee, a quasi clone. I liked the Scout a lot better, and I like the Wrangler better (the K5 and second gen Broncos never did like-too darn big. If going that size Iāll just take a pickupš)
Iāve seen āthe Tonā once in the Jeep. I was still pulling pretty good, but that was all the speed I cared forš³. The Jeep works just fine for normal driving, but itās not a high speed machine-stability, aerodynamic drag, etc. are all against yaš
Just remember, the OEM suspension was developed at a high cost by the mfgr, the aftermarket kits for only a fraction of that. You figure out which one is going to be best for a primarily road driven machine. Based on what youāve said, a stock Jeep on 33ās will do anything you are wanting/...
Ran 87 in my ā20 since new, nary an issue, mid 20ās mpgās. Couldnāt ask for more. Power from the 2.0 is great. Definitely pulls far harder than previous Jeeps-fast enough giver the high cg and short wheelbase. Oil companies are making plenty without me paying another 65 cents/ gallon...
You
You live in a great neighborhood (well, except for āol no shoulders). I love the peace and quiet where I live, but compared to west Texas, itās like Times Square (ācrept we are a free stateš)
