  3. Frequent removal & installation of hard top?

I live in NJ and with the nicer weather have been removing then reinstalling the hardtop at least once a week. Can this wear down the screw threads/mounts on the body? Just wondering.
  4. What Else Should I have? Running around town in case of emergency

  6. driver side marker/parking light - ripped it off

About 10 minutes ago I backed into the garage and took off the driver side marker/parking light. Attaching a pic. I cannot get the thing to click back in or seat properly in the cavity. I circled in red a broken portion, which is supposed to be a complete circle and where the rear part of the...

  9. Need Legal Advice re: repairs

For context, when did you purchase your Jeep? If you bought it brand new and had it for over 3 years then it would seem to be you are out of warranty - unless you purchased an extended one, of course. If you purchased the Jeep within the time period of protection provided by NJ's used car lemon...

    Is this still available?
  11. 3600 miles coolant leak, reservoir is empty

The leak was at the inlet hose of the water pump. Per dealer invoice: "hose was not installed entirely" and they changed the clamp. However today at 5600 miles my Jeep is back at the dealer with the same issue. Service manager called and explained same issue has occurred but does not know why...
  12. 3600 miles coolant leak, reservoir is empty

How many miles on your Jeep? If you're dealing with FCA roadside I wish you the best of luck.
  13. 3600 miles coolant leak, reservoir is empty

The update: the dealer said the inlet hose worked it's way loose and they reattached it and applied a new clamp. They also said another Wrangler with 2,000 miles was likewise towed in the day before with the same issue. This might be something to keep an eye on - my JL was delivered in...
  14. 3600 miles coolant leak, reservoir is empty

Ok, this could be a possibility. It's a tight space in there but the Jeep has not been started for over 24 hours and it had been slowly dripping all day. It is parked on a slight incline, front end lower than rear.
  15. 3600 miles coolant leak, reservoir is empty

I appreciate all the help and information given here. The tow truck *should be* coming out but I am half inclined to try to slap on a hose clamp and see if that works just to get the Jeep over to the dealer.
  16. 3600 miles coolant leak, reservoir is empty

FCA roadside dispatched a non-flatbed which I refused. I am unfamiliar with how tow-truck towing works but the manual says flatbed or flat towing. Waiting on the next dispatch. The roadside # has worked best for me today so thanks again for that info.
  17. 3600 miles coolant leak, reservoir is empty

Do you know if that is a "common issue"? For $2....jeez.
  18. 3600 miles coolant leak, reservoir is empty

Great information, Thank you. I did call the 992-1997 number. But I am also going to get on the phone with these others right now.
