If you are in the snow… hard to beat the KO2s…. Plus they are super quiet and handle well…. Much better than the wild peaks that came on my Rubicon.
I just installed my AEV bumper yesterday and my center sensors are showing tripped no matter what. I’m even running it without a spare tire.. the outer sensors seem to work fine.
im going to pop off the cover and fiddle with them again.
Here is the part..

It looks way better on the car than seen in the pictures... I have it and love it more than the AEV bumper that I had on my JK or the AEV one that I was going to buy for this car.
Wildpeak MT. Suck. They are loud, crappy in the snow, and uninspiring in the rain.... but they look really good. I have 10k on mine and will be replacing with K02s.
The LSD is fantastic and even better in the snow .... put a set of KO2s (much quieter and less squirm than the Wild Peaks that are on my Rubicon)... and you will be fine. Their is a whole technique to using the brake whilst driving to kick in the ABS to spread the torque to the wheel with...
You can’t make a fair assessment until you have driven a JL with the new steel steering box and updated software. It has made a big difference in the way these cars drive... that whole “it’s a Jeep thing” on handling is bull crap.
My 2020 rubicon drives like crap too... I’ve improved it with adding a bunch of castor via adjustable lower control arms... it has helped. Next I’ve adjusted the steering box .. that too has helped a bit... next is the synergy bracket and also heavier track bar.
I had them on my JK before and after a 2.5 inch lift... they were adjustable and I absolutely loved them...I drive in NYC and the country and could easily dial in the feel that I wanted...never had them off road.
im contemplating them for JL... but $2600 is a lot of coin.
ok I'm going to go out on a limb here.. I came from 2016 JKU Winter edition that was equipped with the $595 anti spin electronic diff. I eventually lifted it 2 inches with a metalcloak lift and under armor and King Shocks. That car drove fabulously on the road, in the snow, and hung just fine...
The MOPAR bumpers (and probably this one) who have the “crash cans” give just a little extra absorption of crash energy that actually saves both the Jeep and the car you hit.
I don’t think people understand that putting an “off road only” steel bumper could open you up to a liability in case of...
My wife has taken over my Jeep... and plowing through the streets of NYC don’t require the big lights... I even peeled the rubicon stickers off... she hasn’t noticed the 1.75” spacers nor the light guards front and rear... though she did catch the Jeep “wander”.
I’m going to hold out for a rear AEV bumper for JL.... but I pulled the trigger on this Mopar performance bumper and it is awesome.... not as bulky as the AEV... but looks like it was made by them.

these brackets will allow you to use JW Speaker fogs in the...
I installed 1.75 inch spacers on my previous JK and the same for my new Rubicon... it really makes the cars look better.... I explained to my wife that it helps with reducing the tip over off center impact issue....
As pointed out , your axles aren’t as wide as the Rubicon, so the push out...
