Not sure on the dealer cost, but AA, AB, and AC are all the same part with different revisions (Fit the same just small changes like supplier or material) As long as the numbers in front are the same (i.e. 68386838AA is the same as 68386838AB and 68386838AC, but 68385238AB is different)

The TSB for the steering gear specifically says lifts are ok as long as the jeep still aligns to factory specs. I know that can come down to dealer discretion but it's at least something.
