  1. Touch-up paint for steel bumpers and Mopar rock sliders?

I use the spray paint all the time. It’s an amazing match to my bumpers and sliders. i don’t have mopar bumpers any more but I believe when I did, it matched very well.
  2. Has somebody removed the sun visor stickers?

A heat gun will help soften the glue but be careful or the vinyl will stretch. Also, it will never be 100% Invisible. So if you are ocd, you might not like it.

  5. Making my own hi-lift jack mount for my Cavfab tire carrier

They are certainly welcome to use what I have. I think if I lowered it down an inch, I could then move it even closer to the tail light. That way a 37” tire would fit. A 37” tire might fit with it the way it is now. it’s been at the powdercoat place now for two weeks.

  9. Making my own hi-lift jack mount for my Cavfab tire carrier

Updated plans have been added to the first post. See hiLiftMountDesignV3.zip Here are the changes I made: Needed to move the mount .87” further away from my spare tire. This moves it to about 1/8" away from the tail light when the tailgate is fully open. The base of the jack needed to be...
  10. Making my own hi-lift jack mount for my Cavfab tire carrier

Got a little further but I find this one is too close to the tire. I’m going to move it to the right .78”. Another issue I am having is the jack base needs to be pushed outward about 1/2” in order for the jack to sit parallel with the jeep. I’ll update the plans in the first post when I finish...
  11. CavFab JL / JLU Elite Series HD Tire Carrier

Rubs the rear light when opening? I don’t recall mine ever doing that. Do you have an earlier version without a tailgate stop?
  12. Tailgate Latch Stop Bumper

Hi @Rhinebeck01, I think it just didn't work for my JL. Setup is pretty easy, I just tightened it enough so that it could be moved by the tailgate closing around it and then tighten it up. I'm thinking, for my JL, it needs to come forward a bit. With the stock piece, I did the same adjustment...
  13. Tailgate Latch Stop Bumper

I just tried this and it was worse than my factory latch. The problem is there is no front-to-back adjustment. I ended up putting the factory latch back and adjusting it properly.

  17. Making my own hi-lift jack mount for my Cavfab tire carrier

So I recently replaced my Maximus-3 tire carrier for the Cavfab tire carrier. The Maximus-3 is a fine carrier but there are just too many moving parts for my liking. The problem is my Maximus-3 hi-lift jack mount doesn't work with Cavfab and Cavfab doesn't have a jack mount that I am aware of...

I’m confused as to whether I should be jealous of you because your wife has a jeep too or thankful I don’t have twice the mods to install and pay for.
