  1. Jeep JL Car Play Project.

Finally got mine after ordering in May. Took 4 months! I really like it though. :like:
  2. Proximity door locks retrofit install (instructions, parts, links) on JL Wrangler

I still don’t really understand the purpose of the magnet. Maybe it senses the pull of the handle and immediately unlocks the door?
  3. Seat Creep

I feel like mine changes position occasionally, but I just adjust it. I have mine set on the lowest bottom setting.
  4. New Uconnect Uodate July 19, 2020

Let us know how it goes. I have the same update available.
  5. Show the stickers / decals you've added to your Jeep Wrangler JL

Yours’ is the ancestor of mine. :turkey:
  6. 3 bad steering boxes...WTH FCA?

I'm optimistic about the Bronco, but Ford doesn't have that great of a track-record with new vehicle rollouts. :giggle:
  7. Adding Sky One Touch to 2018 JLUR

When the JL first came out, someone found a sliding top that had been on one of the JL mules and added it to theirs. The thread should be on here somewhere, but maybe whoever did it could help you. Found the thread...
  8. Muffler Delete Damage

Don’t know exactly, but sounds like he didn’t put a down pipe or extend it far enough.
  9. Muffler Delete Damage

Here’s the part number: 68293755AB It ain’t cheap, so maybe you want to get the tub liner that mopar sells and just fill that hole.
  10. Tailgate Key Lock Missing

I never have. It just doesn’t make sense why they would take them off, unless it was to save a few cents. I’m sure someone uses it.
  11. New Uconnect Uodate July 19, 2020

I haven’t gotten one in over a year. Been wondering about that marketplace app.
  12. Starter protection mode

I’m not an expert, but I’d say anyone related to having lost communication with a system would be a result of removing the power distribution circuit. The problem with the JL is that small problems can cause unrelated warning lights and codes to appear. Unfortunately there’s not much you can do...
  13. Tailgate Key Lock Missing

The key cylinder is definitely manual. Whether it can manually unlock the latch or the latch requires power, remains to be seen. I figure if anything stops working, I can climb through the soft top, incognito style. :captain:
  14. Starter protection mode

Several things it could be is the wiring that hooks to the starter, something related to the fuel pump, or a bad ignition switch. Does the car sound like it's going to start, but doesn't? If so, it could be the relay and fuses that control the fuel pump. In car accidents, fuel pumps are designed...
  15. Tailgate Key Lock Missing

None have them on my lot. Every trim including the Sport and Rubicon, even with proximity.
  16. Tailgate Key Lock Missing

None of the ones at mine have tailgate locks. Probably realized not many use them and it could save some money. :CWL: https://www.kendalldodgechryslerjeepram.com/inventory/new-2020-jeep-wrangler-unlimited-rubicon-4x4-sport-utility-1c4hjxfg2lw290871
  17. Tailgate Key Lock Missing

I just looked online at my dealership and none of the 2020's have tailgate locks. I don't get why they would take them off the 20's.
  18. Tailgate Key Lock Missing

That's weird. Every Jeep is supposed to have them. Not that it would make a difference, but do you have manual or power locks?
