  1. Will This Be The Wrangler’s True Competitor? 2021 Ford Bronco First Leaked Look

Yeah but you probably won't see something like that until late 2022 or early 2023 at the earliest. From the Brono forum I read Ford is not even shcheduled to start production until May 21st for the Bronco. That's assuming no delays from Ford which has a history of delays. Ford may also do a...
  2. Will This Be The Wrangler’s True Competitor? 2021 Ford Bronco First Leaked Look

I am learning not to fall too much for these option games with new vehicles. Especially things like "upgraded speakers". You can go to Cructchfield and swap out the cheap OEM speakers for a quality set from a company like Morel and for $500 or less you have a much better sounding sytem. Three...
  3. Bob Lutz: Wrangler Will Remain the Benchmark Against New Ford Bronco

It very well could. The Jeep is tried and true. The Bronco is not. It's going to take time to sort this all out. I think there is a good reason why the Bronco is so late to market.... Let's hope they got it right. We still have almost a year to find out.
  4. Wrangler 392

Ford "And here is the all new Bronco!" Jeep "Hold my beer"
  5. Wrangler 392

On one of the Youtube videos I watched a Jeep insider said they have made 50 prototypes and have been testing/driving them around for sometime. Sure seems real to me. Good for Jeep, this thing will be a beast...
  6. Bob Lutz: Wrangler Will Remain the Benchmark Against New Ford Bronco

It's a highly profitable segment with a lot of passionate fans. But let's see what happens when the hype settles and the Bronco actually starts hitting the really tough trails. I just read Ford does not expect to start building them until May 2021. Assuming no other delays and no major...
  7. Are we waving at the new Broncos?

LOL, I usually forget to wave to Jeep Wrangler owners, so for me no...
  8. Will This Be The Wrangler’s True Competitor? 2021 Ford Bronco First Leaked Look

When are you buying? My guess is you are a good 12-18 months away from getting your hands on a Bronco.
  9. Will This Be The Wrangler’s True Competitor? 2021 Ford Bronco First Leaked Look

Ford definitely paid attention. I give them kudos they did their homework and did not rush some half baked product to market. But they clearly had the benefit of being later to market. In the end competition is good and Jeep will be forced to make changes. Jeep also has the ability now based...
  10. Will This Be The Wrangler’s True Competitor? 2021 Ford Bronco First Leaked Look

Anyone hoping to test drive one of these Bronco's anytime soon has a long wait unless they either have connections with Ford or have a friend who is getting one of the initial orders. I am guessing we are a good 18-24 months away from dealers having unsold stock that they can allow test drives on.
  11. Will This Be The Wrangler’s True Competitor? 2021 Ford Bronco First Leaked Look

People need to understand timing. Assuming no other delays due to Covid, union strikes, parts shortages, etc you won't get one of these for a long time as it is. Let's say about a year. Then you have to actually get your hands on one. There will likely be a supply and demand issue for at...
  12. Will This Be The Wrangler’s True Competitor? 2021 Ford Bronco First Leaked Look

Some examples: https://www.motortrend.com/news/2020-ford-explorer-launch-problems-lessons-shareholder-meeting/ From another article: "What the CEO wasn’t counting on was for a problematic plant to cause trouble again. The Chicago factory, fined twice in the last two decades by federal...
  13. Will This Be The Wrangler’s True Competitor? 2021 Ford Bronco First Leaked Look

if ou My last two sports cars have been Ford's (Focus RS, GT350). The problem I have with JD Power is it does not address longer term reliability. Just in terms of Consumer Reports I see Jeep ranked 26th and Ford ranked 16th. Not defending Jeep here, as I just had my whole A/C unit replaced...
  14. Will This Be The Wrangler’s True Competitor? 2021 Ford Bronco First Leaked Look

And most Ford dealers will want $70-80K with markup.
  15. Will This Be The Wrangler’s True Competitor? 2021 Ford Bronco First Leaked Look

I have a GT350 and a JL Wrangler. I have also owned a Focus RS. Anyone not familiar with Ford dealers, they love dealer markup. More than any high volume car manufacture I have bought from. Expect $5-40K+ ADM on all Broncos with the highest on the highest level spec. Ford did a great job...
  16. The Jeep Wrangler is One of the Most Unreliable Cars of 2020

Our 19 Wrangler Unlimited S is our first FCA product and I’ve been super happy since buying it in August. 10K miles later and zero issues. Just regular maintenance.
  17. A keeper...

Thanks man! Yes not my first rodeo with a track car my previous three cars were a modified ND Miata, Focus RS, and C7 Z51. I both autoX as well as track events at Lime Rock which is less than an hour away. So far I am head over heals with the GT350. Way more practical than my Vette but just...
  18. What option do you regret not getting? By popularity!

100% keyless entry.. All our other cars have it and it’s a pain trying to fumble with keys.
  19. A keeper...

Purchased our first Wrangler five months ago (2019 Mojito Unlimited with technology, 8 speed auto, cold weather package, hard top, V6, etc). Did a few mods (takeoff Rubicon suspension and bigger wheels and tires). We love this vehicle. Just under 7K miles and just did the first oil change...
