The latest version and all frame mounted ones are ecoated (unless you opt for bare metal or have them have LineX applied). OminousSkitter has posted a picture of his frame mounted and e coated rock rails showing surface rust.
The gen 1 were apparently crap coated - they had powder coating...

Unfortunately the original sidesteps had a poor coating and it was apparently so bad that Roam went with a different coater and process. They have decided that the people who helped them get the company up and running by buying the Gen...
Even better for me, since I bought new in box Roam steps that had never been installed from a guy on jkwranglerforum, I get no warranty at all from Roam. That’s really great with a known problem and Roam having changed their powder coat because of this known problem.

I don’t know what you are asking. I posted a view from the rear with it mounted on my sting grey rubi. The other pictures on the DV8 site are of a prototype bumper that fits exactly the same (except the prototype doesn’t show the backup sensor holes).
I posted the picture from the rear that you already saw.
It looks just like these pics. Mine was repainted because the sensor holes were not large enough and had to be drilled out.
