  1. Booked Redbird on July 24th

Just booked a weekend at Redbird, for some MOAR badges! Maybe see some of you there!?:fist bump:
  2. I will be waving at the new Broncos

Nah, I don’t like it. Don’t make to where Broncos start waving at me. If I see it, I’ll know the SOB that started this
  3. Post Your Cool Random JL pics. Pics. Pics, pics, pics!

Would have loved to see that! :fist bump:
  4. About to pull the trigger on this lift kit. Need advice/opinions.

I tend to agree with everything that @rustyshakelford posts, and i would continue that on this subject. For that price, i would expect to see all 8 control arms (adjustable). I think there's more kits out there that you can consider. FOr an extra couple hun, you can get the MetalCloak...
  5. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

We were thinking about mounting on the tailgate as well. With the added weight from your jack, tire, gas can - do you have any concern for the tailgate/hinges?
  6. AUX Switches: Cable COLOR CODE Wiring Identification

If you pull off the kick-panel, there are a couple studs you can ground to.
  7. Clutch Recall (FCA W12 | 20V-124) on 2018-2020 JL Manuals [overheating clutch pressure plate]

From what I’ve read: you’ll be thankful to wait on the parts as opposed to failing and having to leave your Jeep at the dealer, until parts come in.
  8. Opinions of Steersmarts on the Trail?

Agree with this! Running SS drag (w/Griff) and SS tie rod. MC trackbar and Nexus 2.2. Never had an issue on the trails. Everything is holding up well. I did have to rotate my Nexus towards the rear, to be mindful of flexing with the Griffin, but it does absorb small bumps well.
  9. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Thanks and great timing. Thought about something for this over the weekend! :fist bump:
  10. If regearing (4.10 to 5.13) should the axle shafts be replaced?

They don’t HAVE to be, but a lot of guys take the opportunity of “while you’re in there”. I re-geared to 5.13s and haven’t touched the shafts....yet. I haven’t had a need, but plan to in the future for more rock terrain.
  11. Red and black terminal wires to fuse box

Your concern is valid. Being hooked up directly to the battery, there is no mechanism for "shutoff", so those lights can be turned on, even when the Jeep is off. There is a possibility for a slow-draw drain....although, might be unlikely, but still there. A better option would be to either tap...
  12. I’ll admit, I snob the JTs

    Considered the same to me.
  13. I’ll admit, I snob the JTs

Just wanted to post....and I know there are other threads: I passed 2 JTs today, 1 nice, 1 not as nice: they both waved at me....I didn’t wave back. I’m sorry, but I’m a wrangler owner. It’s a wrangler thing. If your sales person told you about this (when you were buying your first Jeep, being a...
  14. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Added 2 MOAR badges  @BbyGrlJJ
  15. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

So awesome! Haven't heard a CD skip in years! :)
  16. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Awesome upgrades! I'm sure you already know, but there's a fog out in this pic.
  17. More lift - 2.5 to 3.5

3.5” gamechanger. Love it on and off road. It’s very capable. On the trails I’ve ran, I haven’t pushed it to its limits too often.
