Sorry to stir this thread up a while later, but was wondering if anyone has had more input on this topic? I was looking at the X-Bull 3/8” x 100’ synthetic winch rope. It has 4.6 stars on Amazon (nearly 800 reviews), is SK75 rated, and seems to be an overall good value.
Just wondering if anyone...
Unfortunately that will not work. You will need to use a Tazer to program the settings in your Willys if you want the fenders to act as DRLs.
I am using the oracle switchbacks, and am fine with the fenders not being DRLs, there’s really no purpose since we have the halo ring on the headlights...
Thanks for providing those instructions!
The mopar instructions show 4 brackets being used, and I could’ve sworn the eBay bumper winch plate only came with 2. This leads me to believe that it’s not a 1-to-1 match unfortunately :/
I was just wondering if anyone happened to take any pics of the...

FWIW, I reached out to RC and the R&D team said the following:
“Yes the plate sits at an angle on the diff skids as shown it the instruction/ your install looks correct as is.”
And they said the following about the torque for the clamp:
“38ft.lbs is the torq spec on the 2 bracket bolts”
What did you torque the clamp bolts down to? Or did you just get them hand tight?
from my picture on page 3, what size spacer would you suggest? Or should I just leave it alone? Seems like it’s holding it in place, it just looks funny
Any suggestions would be appreciated. My clamp for the RC rear diff skid plate is very far off from lining up (see picture below). I was going to call quadratec and return it, but maybe there’s an easy, simple solution.
Thanks so much,
I’m doing the Rubicon spring swap on my ‘21 JLU Willys this weekend! I’ve been watching the Mopar 2” lift install videos on YouTube to get comfortable with the suspension parts I’ll be removing.
Two questions came to mind off the bat:
