  1. Goose Gear plate system install (full rear seat delete)

After stumbling upon this last thread last night, I jumped deep on the research of battery dimensions. The only one that is 100% certain (and obviously everything smaller Wh) is the Goal Zero Yeti 500x. Unfortunately I really want to have an extra 1k+, as well as the extra wattage the 1k+ units...
  2. NorCal Wheeling, Camping, Recovery

Any of you local guys want to buy a kidney? Just placed my order for the Goose Gear system and Bush Company XT 270 awning today. 💸💸💸 Happy Birthday to me! Probably will try to get over to Cache Creek for a camping trip right after I get that bolted on in case anyone would like to join :) In...
  3. Goose Gear plate system install (full rear seat delete)

Yeah it's looking like I'm going to have to wait for the actual GG install to be complete before I pick a battery. That's how it goes :/
  4. Goose Gear plate system install (full rear seat delete)

This is the only thread I could find mentioning storing batteries underneath this plate system. I'm going with the 60% removal system. Do you guys think I can fit this in under there where the rear passenger/middle seat used to be? Laying down of course. EcoFlow Delta The dimensions are 15.7...

Progress on the compressor / aux electrical system Got an actual video of what I've finished so far on this install. It's been quite the experience. This ARB wiring is no joke! The air lines in particular were not fun. I made the mistake of running 4ga for the electrical which is making cake...
  6. Is the alternator in 3.6L e-torque JLUR variable or fixed?

Did you ever get this sorted out? I'm planning a similar install and can't figure it out.
  7. Redarc 1225D Installation Questions - “New ultimate dual battery setup”

Did you ever figure out where to tap into the wire for the variable alternator source?
  8. NorCal Wheeling, Camping, Recovery

I just had to spend $200 on wiring accessories and a circuit breaker for my aux electrical system. I have nobody else to convey the dual excitement and depression that I'm now experiencing, so you're going to hear it. Woooooooooo. I have historically hated wiring, even though I'm good at it with...
  9. NorCal Wheeling, Camping, Recovery

idiot question incoming; do you drive in 4hi or 2wd for this?
  10. NorCal Wheeling, Camping, Recovery

Yeah that's the bottom floor PSI we run on the tubeless bikes too; 15psi. Anny lower and you're asking for it. Good to know it's about the same.
  11. NorCal Wheeling, Camping, Recovery

Forgive my lack of 4x4 knowledge on this one. That kind of PSI requires rim locks on my bikes so that the tire doesn't come off the bead. Is this not a concern for 4x4? I see "beadlocks" exist, but not sure if those are related to this. If I took my tubeless bike w/o rimlocks down to 5psi, I...

The LSD was an option. Mine doesn't have it. Happy it doesn't, since I want to run ARB lockers eventually. As soon as my compressor mount comes in (massive AAL backorder), I'll pick up the ARB dual compressor. Super excited to not have to run this slow ass Slime pump anymore! How low should I...
  13. NorCal Wheeling, Camping, Recovery

I've never driven in snow, and certainly nothing like that before. Would my Sahara do ok? No lockers, and not sure if that's an issue for deep snow like that. I have Rubicon suspension/wheels/MT takeoffs and a winch + recovery gear. How worried should I be?

Thanks for helping them though. You always got the good stuff 👍

Got anything to add @Rhinebeck01 ?
  16. Apex AutoLYNX quick sway bar disconnect solution

Yeah it's less about the cost and more about just providing a complete kit. I'll likely still buy it anyways. But if you only spent $2 on these things, that kind of shoots the "it's too expensive to include" comment in the foot. I'm not trying to disparage the part here; I think it's a great...
  17. Apex AutoLYNX quick sway bar disconnect solution

The needs of some of the OEM customers seem to be the same though. At the very least, wouldn't it be useful for future customers/installations if you reached out to the people in this thread that DID require a spacer, and put the dimensions in the notes of what spacer / washers could potentially...
  18. Jeep won’t start after brand new battery

A defective Aux battery can and will prevent the car from starting. I would recommend bypassing the aux battery to confirm that isn't the issue. Instructions for this can be found on the forum here by searching for "ESS bypass". Wroth a shot.
  19. Jeep won’t start after brand new battery

Did you replace the main battery or aux battery or both?
