I use FreeCad. Pix of the lights would be the best way to assess, but a ffriction-held TPU cover design and a pair of calipers would be where I'd start.

If that's the rear-view mirror cluster (you have lane tracking?? mine has open space behind it where I have a dashcam mounted), then that looks to be (again, just judging from the image because I'm a Sport S guy) a plastic quick fastener that releases on just a quarter turn of the Phillips head...

The compression clamp is really tight, but not so tight that the holder can't be mounted/removed in less than a second. ;) An anal-retentive OCD-type person might design a TPU (rubbery, flexible filament - like I used for the lugnut caps) covering for inside of the clamp jaws that would take...

With the kick panel in place. Blinkin lights & usb access just below the panel.

Tweaked a bit. Since the main holder bay that cradles the Tazer doesn’t actually rest against the mount bar anymore, there’s no harm in dropping it down for even easier access, yet within the reach of the wiring that connects to the Tazer. Also dialed in the clamp height and compression strength.

As described. A "phone holder" style spring-loaded clamping mechanism that allows for zero bolts/cable ties. There's a bend in the lower bar -- specifically the bar closest to the diagnostics port -- where there's ample purchase for the jaw depth. Top left - ideal mount spot. Top right -...

I think you’re missing my take, which was a quick mod to the 3d model that would clamp the holder in like a cell phone holder. 🤷🏼‍♂️ That would have a holder with no ties, no screw, and still a quick release and full access to the usb/lights.

Sounds like what you really want isn't a single screw or zip ties at all, but a spring loaded clip design that clasps on the upper and lower chamfered edges of the bottom bar behind the kick plate (shown where I've mounted mine in the video); no need for a blade or a screwdriver to...

The one I've shared allows the Tazer Mini to slide freely up and out of the holder, and is within reach without removal of the kickplate. There are no clips in the design (by design) and no need to cut any ties when mounted on the lower bar as indicated. Wish well to the other guys, regardless.

They're ultimately pretty thin, and if needed, you can shove a lug wrench right through them to get purchase on the nut. I also have a good sharp knife in the glove compartment. I've printed extras :) Being TPU filament, they're pretty manipulateable.

More bling for the fun of it. Printed with TPU filament. Fits solid and comes off with a gentle tug. Secures over the lug’s inner brim pretty well. I designed a hex-topped version too, but like the cylinder look better.

B+ goes to battery (always hot). There’s a B+ wire that goes to the head unit that you can tap In the main head unit connector.

First - big hat tip to you @WilhelmSR. I took a few liberties with your design and hope you take it as a complement, as it is intended. My Tazer Mni was a bit tight with your thingiverse version on both the Prusa and Lulzbot printers that I used to prototype the print, and both are calibrated...

Background context: I have a 2-door *BRIGHT WHITE* JL which I've worked diligently to remove any red, amber, silver, chrome. Just black & white - which will explain the gist of this post in a bit. I purchased some HELO 904 rims which will sit in boxes until I do my lift and settle on tires...

@SH556JL is correct - if you're going to pick up a swap-in UConnect, you'll also need an activation code. Most sellers here in the marketplace know this and include it. It is on the original owner to get this code prior to selling their unit, and requires registered VIN-matching to obtain it...
