  1. OEM Battery Replacement

When they had it they basically went system by system for a month letting it sit between each one. They were great and actually paid my car bill for the month with some other goodies. Eventually they replaced batteries and a control module.
  2. OEM Battery Replacement

Probably. I just really don’t wanna lose my Jeep for another month. It was all handled by FCA and the dealer was just doing whatever the engineers aid to do.
  3. OEM Battery Replacement

I have the tow. They had mine in the shop for about a month or so trying to figure out the battery drain and replacing stuff. It’s been about 8mo to a year and they be dying again. I’m not sure if it’s a Jeep glitch or it’s just got enough going on in the background that a 40min round trip 7...
  4. OEM Battery Replacement

Are both the main/aux batteries on the 3.6 AGM? I leave my car a week at a time and the ESS goes down. Was gonna try a battery tender when I leave it for a week.
  5. Added small decals today

Thanks. Kids love it when I drop mine off at school.
  6. 2022 Color Wish List

Deep Purple pearlescent would be my tops. I love my PunkN and would buy it again if they upped the metallic in it.
  7. Clutch Recall (FCA W12 | 20V-124) on 2018-2020 JL Manuals [overheating clutch pressure plate]

What ever happened to the recall? Notified in January and it still says parts not available to complete. So,,,, they doing this or what?
  8. Caution: Broken Body Mount Bolt When Installing Frame Mount Rock Sliders / Rails / Sidesteps

As an update I re-torqued my body bolts one year later. Only one was out of spec and only about 1/8th of a turn. I did not fully remove them or add/remove any loctite. Just heat, loosen, retighten.
  9. Caution: Broken Body Mount Bolt When Installing Frame Mount Rock Sliders / Rails / Sidesteps

Did you heat it or just hope for the best? Either way sucks and sorry.
  10. Sky Touch roof......

Sky one touch for over a year. Here’s the thing. Most people aren’t going to remove their hard top and deal with storing it. The soft top sucks with the plastic windows, the rear is a pain with the plastic window in place, and you have to pull over if it rains. Oh and zero security. sky one...
  11. JL Start/Stop not working (Battery Charging)

I’d disagree nothing is wrong. This is a pretty common issue with the JL. Bad batteries. Bad battery sensors. Sure if you let your car sit a month thr battery will die. But if it’s starting and running fine you’re main battery is good. If the start stop or accessory buttons (if you’re...
  12. JL Start/Stop not working (Battery Charging)

It’s not just the stop start. It’s your aux battery that’s causing it. So I would highly recommend you get it fixed. Don’t know much about Canada but I imagine you still have a warranty.
  13. JL Start/Stop not working (Battery Charging)

My Jeep was at the dealer for a month with the same problem. I had steps installed and some electrical work in the back. Every dealer is different. Mine cut power to my mods and checked to see if the battery was still draining. It was. So ruled out mods. after that FCA had them go system by...
  14. Who else manipulates ess with brake pressure?

Totally different experience in the manual. The clutch is what triggers the engine to kick on. For a super short stop just keep the clutch in and in gear. Wont turn the engine off. . the best however is that the engine will shut off in neutral at about 2mph letting you coast engine off. In...
  15. What did you name your Jeep JL?

I mean... what else could I name it?
  16. Clutch Recall (FCA W12 | 20V-124) on 2018-2020 JL Manuals [overheating clutch pressure plate]

Enjoy your new fully loaded Jeep that is totally paid off and includes a 7yr/100mi warranty and probably enough extra cash for all your mods.
  17. Anyone with a XRC 3rd gen winch knows what this is

Have one, someone else installed. No idea. Is that the drum?
  18. Anyone consider the Gladiator before going with the JLU?

If you want to tow and use that bed go for a JT. If you want more offroading or the sky one touch get a JLU. For me I knew I'd rarely use the bed or tow. The one touch is a deal breaker for me. So damn convenient. But also I have storage in the back, I can get a trailer hitch basket or...
