  1. 4.56 or 4.88 regear for on road use?

I would like to re-gear to 4.56. Should I go with the Dana/Spicer gears or is there another brand that is an upgrade? Thank you.
  2. How far do 17*8.5 rims with 0 offset & 12.5 tires stick out?

Any of you have issues with law enforcement in your state pulling you over for tires outside of the wheel wells?
  3. Brake lines

I added longer stainless braided brake lines to my rig after I lifted it just to make sure that under full articulation there was zero tension on the line. The added benefit was a better pedal feel as well.
  4. AEV JLU Wrangler Build [SEMA 2019]

I want a set of those! I hope they get released soon! Steel with the right offset 👍
  5. Katzkin Leather Seats Review by TrailRecon

I had Katzkin covers installed on my rig by the dealer.... twice. I should've had them do it a third time as the seams on the headrests were not centered. My observation is that there are only as good as they are installed. Mine are no where near as tight and snug as a factory equipped...
  6. Peasant???

I used to work with 3 guys who worked for a billionaire at their previous job. These were regular dudes who got attached to a lifestyle that was not their own. They all drove new LR4's at the time. At the time I was driving a Tacoma. They all had their yucks at my expense because of my low...
  7. Bubbles in Paint at Door Hinges

Dude... stop. How old are you?
  8. Bubbles in Paint at Door Hinges

Ok Turbo.... What would YOU do? 🙄
  9. Bubbles in Paint at Door Hinges

There is no reason for the paint to be bubbling up a second time AFTER a factory repaint for the same issue. It's getting old....
  10. When to wax?

Mine never stays clean long enough to wax it.
  11. Bubbles in Paint at Door Hinges

I just noticed over the weekend that my rear doors are both starting to bubble.... again... This is the second time this has occurred. The dealership had my rig for a week last time. Hope they make it right and get it fixed correctly this time.
  12. American Adventure Lab's base and fridge slide

Any shakes, rattles, or squeaks empty and loaded? Looks like nice stuff. It would be cool if AAL could make a 60% and 40% rear seat delete MASS system.
  13. Affordable Rotopax mount for spare tire

I added the Warn elite bumper with swing out tire carrier and Rotopax mount along with a Titan fuel tank.
  14. Goose Gear plate system install (full rear seat delete)

I’ll wait to hear back from Goose Gear but there’s always a fix. Just got to work it out. It’s the only creak in the Jeep... except the hard top 😆
  15. Goose Gear plate system install (full rear seat delete)

I installed my Dometic CFX3 45 and Cook Partner 22" stove this afternoon. The Camp Kitchen still creaks annoyingly. I dropped them an email to see what I can do to remedy this. It's so loud that there is no way I'm going to keep it if we can't get the creaking to stop.
  16. Goose Gear plate system install (full rear seat delete)

I have a Goose Gear plate system in my JLUR with the 60% delete. I just took delivery of one of their Camp Kitchen 2.3 set ups. The plate system is rock solid and quiet. The Camp Kitchen however, creaks badly. I have not installed the fridge or stove on it yet and plan on doing that today...
  17. Dynatrac EnduroSport 2" Lift Owners..

I ended up with somewhat of a hybrid. Teraflex Alpine IR control control arms and geometry correction brackets, AEV 2.5” springs, AEV Bilstein 5100 shocks, Steer Smarts Yeti HD front and rear track bars, tie rod, drag link, and steering stabilizer, Synergy extended braided brake lines, AEV...
  18. Clayton Off Road: JL Overland Plus Lift Kits

I'm in for the true 2" heavy spring. I don't want to go bigger than 35's and would like a spring that will support some weight.
  19. AEV 2.5 Dualsport With Fox 2.0s?

I do not have any experience with the Mopar lift springs but I do have an AEV lift on my JLU Rubicon. I purchased the lift because of the stiffer springs to help support the weight of my build out. It is my understanding that the AEV springs are stiffer than the Mopar lift springs but perhaps...
  20. AEV 2.5 Dualsport With Fox 2.0s?

I believe AEV uses Bilstein 5100's for their kits. I have yet to see an AEV kit listed with Fox 2.0's. You can always add them and sell the Bilsteins. I would have to believe AEV valved the shocks to match the spring rate.
