  1. Safety Recall Alert! 2020 Jeep Wrangler Fuel Supply Line

Got the call yesterday that the part had come in. Took it in this morning and dropped it off. 2 hours later, got call the the work was completed. Took almost a month to get the parts in, but at least it's done now.
  2. running hotter after winch install?

I wonder if something got reset in the adaptations causing the cooling fan profiles to change since the battery would have probably been disconnected for a good amount of time when it was installed?
  3. Cruise control cannot maintain consistent speed; frequent gear shifts leading to overheating

Yeah, anything like that should be warranty. I can't understand why they say it isn't covered due to "outside influence". I could only see that if you or someone added something to the system, used the wrong coolant, or something like that.
  4. Cruise control cannot maintain consistent speed; frequent gear shifts leading to overheating

The cooling system is a closed system. How does one get debris in the radiator and lines without having somehow added it to the overflow tank or directly into the radiator? That doesn't make sense. Did you use some sort of coolant enhancer, stop leak, or add anything else to the coolant?
  5. What Non-Factory Mod is Absolutely Worth Every Penny

I went with the M.O.R.E one. Pain in the rear to install and even more so if you need to adjust the height. It is built solid and is definitely worth the effort.
  6. Safety Recall Alert! 2020 Jeep Wrangler Fuel Supply Line

Took mine in today for oil change and tire rotation knowing it had open recall. They checked it and ordered parts. Told me they would call when parts came in and I could bring it back then to be taken care of.
  7. What Non-Factory Mod is Absolutely Worth Every Penny

I found using tape and a zip tie to hold the backing plate in place made it much easier. I also found that the backing plate bends when you tighten everything up making it a pain to get back off if you want to change to a different length option.
  8. What Non-Factory Mod is Absolutely Worth Every Penny

M.O.R.E Offroad. It's a pain to install, but I liked the look and feel of it.
  9. What Non-Factory Mod is Absolutely Worth Every Penny

There are two for me. The Bestop Sunrider for Hardtop has been absolutely the one mod I have enjoyed most. I love the convertible feel while still having the hardtop on. Second is a dead pedal. That just makes driving on longer trips so much more comfortable.
  10. First Extreme Recon Edition Package Jeep JL Rubicon I’ve seen! - Added suspension + more pics

What's up with the cv joint axles? Is that something new to the XR package?
  11. What was your first modification??

First mod was the Bestop Sunrider for Hardtop within a week or two of getting the Jeep. Second was the M.O.R.E dead pedal shortly after.
  12. Pennzoil Platinum no longer lists MS-13340 spec, but Castrol Edge does.

I agree. I thought it was interesting that the data sheets and web ads no longer listed it, but Castrol did. Do you have some information about Pennzoil having less carbon buildup on the valves versus other brands? I would be interested in seeing that. I found my previous Xterra was noisier on...
  13. What Does Your Electric Fan Do?

Mine does the same. I think they have it slow down when coming to a stop so that the people around you are not wondering what is wrong with that brand new Jeep. Or possibly an executive got embarrassed by everyone staring at him wondering if it was going to explode when sitting at a stop light.
  14. Pennzoil Platinum no longer lists MS-13340 spec, but Castrol Edge does.

Was looking at Castrol's website and noticed that it listed Edge 5W-30 meets "engine test requirements" for MS-13340 HERE. I then looked at Pennzoil's website and noticed that the page for Platinum no longer lists the MS-13340 spec. I also checked the viscosity specific spec sheet and same...
  15. Billet Silver - Gone

I love my Billet Silver Recon. It looks clean for a long time, hides pin striping well, and looks great with the black and red contrasting colors. I notice dirt on the black hood decal long before I do on the paint. Around here, I see a lot of black, dark blue, and white Jeeps. Very few silver...
  16. Anyone cancel ATT Wifi then resub later?

A way around the time limitation is to set the parking brake and leave the Jeep On and in neutral instead of ACC mode. However, other systems are powered up and some motor on my 2.0 eTorque kept running while in the On state. I was able to run this way for an entire day, but don't really...
  17. Transmission Adaptive Learning Reset

Any update on if pulling the fuse corrected the issue?
  18. Guess I should have ordered a Ford Bronco!

To me, it looks like you would be pouring out your beverage opening it. From that picture, you would be lifting the bottom of the bottle up to pop the cap.
  19. When do you REFUEL?

Around town, I will let it get to a quarter tank. When travelling or especially, when touring the west, I will be looking for gas when I get to a half tank.
  20. Metal machining debris in axle housing

Closing the loop on this. I dropped the Jeep off on 3/8 at a dealer who said that they could look at it next day. Well, it took them a week to even pull it in the shop, but that's another story. I was notified today it was ready and picked it up. The dealer says they popped the cover off, pulled...
