  1. Easter Jeep Safari 2022

We went around five years ago and had a blast. We’re planning on going this year but it depends on a health issue (will be fine, but need a surgery). We‘ve already reserved a hotel room.
  2. 2022 Jeepers Jamboree Rubicon Trail

+1 on Slick Rock. It’s beautiful!
  3. Yea yea off roader BUT who enjoys driving their JL onroad?

The doors were a gift from my husband :involve:. They are Body Armor doors (Gen III). They don't rattle at all. https://www.quadratec.com/p/body-armor/gen-iii-front-trail-doors-jeep-wrangler-jl
  4. Now The Wife Wants One!

I love it and still smile when I see it.
  5. Now The Wife Wants One!

I loved my husband’s JKUR when we had it. I drove it when my shoulder wouldn’t allow me to drive my Miata (6 speed). Now I have my own JL :involve:
  6. Opinions on this 18 JLUR

I‘ve read that, but five times? I would wonder if there were additional electrical gremlins. I have 8900 miles on my 20-month old Jeep and can go a few days between driving it. I’m fortunate I haven’t had problems with my batteries (I probably just jinxed myself 😁).
  7. Opinions on this 18 JLUR

It’s been seen five times for “Battery/charging system checked” and two owners. That would give me second thoughts about this Jeep.
  8. Yea yea off roader BUT who enjoys driving their JL onroad?

My '19 JLR was bought back due to steering issues. I put the Mopar LCAs on and the caster went from 4.7° to 6.0°, which helped. When I got my '20 JLUR, I followed some advice I received to not worry about the angle just get the steering right (from the owner of PSC Steering) and installed MC...
  9. Yea yea off roader BUT who enjoys driving their JL onroad?

I do. Driving my JL around town makes me smile. I love convertibles (first car was a '65 MGB—wish I still had it!) and the doors off and top down is the ultimate convertible. Even makes going to the mall fun
  10. REAR SEAT COVER - for Dogs.....

We’ve had this one for years and have used it in a Prius, Ram Truck, JK, and now JL: https://www.amazon.com/Petego-Seat-Protector-Hammock-X-Large/dp/B003OYIBVO
  11. Dog Ramp Recommendations - for older dog?

Great thread. My doodle loves riding in the Jeep, but getting her in the backseat isn’t easy because I have to lift her. I’ll get a ramp and see how it goes.
  12. Diesel Willys a unicorn?

You can add wheels and lift to a Sport. I ordered my Jeeps to get exactly what I want and it was worth the wait. I have a unicorn, too—Punk’n Recon soft top :involve:.
  13. Badge of Honor badges pics

Update...she bought a two-door sport, then promptly put a Mopar lift, Method wheels and 35s on it. Then she got a dog. Smart kid, indeed :).
  14. How important are heated seats to you?

Critical to life :like: (right up there with coffee and wine). I love the bum warmers when the doors are off, top is down, and it's chilly out. I would LOVE cooled seats, too. My husband's convertible has them and they're wonderful.
  15. Interior/Exterior Storage Ideas Area

Another thought...if you install it directly on the tailgate, put the insulation foam or tape on the box so the box doesn't rub the tailgate. You can see it in this pic:
  16. Interior/Exterior Storage Ideas Area

You're welcome! I didn't have any issues with it at all. It cleared the latch and didn't affect the hinges. The box rested on the tailgate bed so the weight didn't matter. The box itself isn't that heavy. I was able to install it myself by resting the box on a sawhorse. I run top down as much...
  17. insulated headliners for hardtop: worth it?

I’m curious about this, too. My daughter has a two-door sport with Nitto tires and I can’t hear her when she’s on the phone.
  18. Interior/Exterior Storage Ideas Area

Hi Brian, it is very well made and solid. I installed it directly on the tailgate (removed the plastic tailgate cover) to save space. I put insulation tape on these sections of the tailgate to prevent rattles and scratches (re-posting the pic): I did notice a slight rattle when going over...
  19. 35000 miles and Rear Axle Assembly is shot

The bearings in the rear axle of my ‘19 JLR had to be replaced at around 500 miles. They replaced it and I didn’t have any problems with it.
