They do that (skip around VINS and go back to them later). At one point they were building VINs of 735 simultaneously with 260/261. Not all the 725 VINS from November orders have even been received yet.
Ya. I think that initial build date is sweet, but it always gets pushed back another time or two. When you get a shipping date, then you know that it will really be built that day. *They can change that date too. When mine was built I ended up with a 2nd "shipping" date that preceded my last...
You get a build date when it hits "D" and a ship date when it hits "D1". The build date often gets pushed back a few times and then eventually the "ship date in D1" is really your real "build date". I don't write the madness, just lived and learned it. Lol.
I'm in North Mesa - a stroll north of Mt. View high school. It's red. If you don't see it, you will hear it.
Send me an email if you want to see before or after you get yours. Ordered it from Scottsdale dealership. Took just under 6 months from order til pick up.
I've been reading all the forum messages, VINs, and definitely see a build pattern. They started building in March and delivered 1st orders in late March/early April. They started on earliest orders and also orders that were 4-8 weeks old. Instead of just building them from order order...
It will most likely get built on August 11th and ship a few days to 2 weeks after it's built. The estimated ship date has notably been the actual build date. I predict just a few more days to wait and it will exist... in Ohio.
I like the gold. It matches the hooks and badges better than the greyish wheels. Silver was trendy, then black... so the 392 and Recon are both standouts with new styles. Sorry you don't like them though...🤔
Jeep has been pretty consistent with the estimated "ship" date actually being the "build" date. I would guess it will be built on the 11th. Watch posts between now and then to see if shipping out is getting faster or people are still in 3 week hold after build (waiting for train).
It would be relatively easy to remove the inner plastic panel and set up a catch with some tape (or something). fast forward to minute 6:00 of this video...

My steering wheel has a lot of play and is about 4 minutes off (on a clock). Service said it could correct itself during break-in. They can look at it again before it it's 12,000 miles and do an alignment. Also things they can do to make steering wheel tighter with less play. All should be...
You are 1000% right. The colors are whack. When you get to the dealership tomorrow make sure they let you put it beside a granite crystal vehicle they have there. The dealership deals with reps who have access to Jeep while we, as customers, really do not. I would definitely have a...
