  4. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

If I have, I haven’t noticed it, things seem clear to me.
  5. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

2 years later and for the most part it’s holding up great, there’s a little bit here and there that’s flaking off, I could reapply and be good to go. So I’m pleased with how it’s held up. You have to be right up on it to tell it’s coming off. And I do have a scratched off part where a guy at the...
  6. Moab/Ouray trip coming up as newbee ....... advice wanted

If you are staying on gravel/dirt roads you shouldn’t need to air back up, just don’t go highway speeds. I aired down to 15-18psi and it rode fine, I have stock KO2’s on my Rubicon. As far as 4Hi or 4Lo, if you’re up and down grades, being in 4Lo will make it to where your vehicle isn’t working...

  9. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

This is the light, I direct wired it in line with the third brake light and did a plate relocation with third brake light. With the plate there, it doesn’t show quite as good, but still looks good. https://www.quadratec.com/p/rugged-ridge/3rd-brake-light-led-ring-jeep-wrangler-jl
  10. Post Pics of Trail Rash Body Damage Due to Wheeling!

It’s not a lot, but this past summer I got a little while in Colorado. Both of my right sides wheels got a little rash, skid plate and frame rail hit some rocks a little bit while on Yankee Boy and Imogene.
  11. Wheels Sticking While Turning Sharply; Cold?

This was the first thing that came to my mind as well. Along the lines of the “leak” that OP seen near the exhaust, it’s most likely just condensation in the exhaust, especially when it’s cold, every vehicle I’ve ever seen has done the same thing.
  12. Drill Bits

Chicago-Latrobe are my go to, they are a little on the pricier side, but as long as you take care of them and keep your speed down, they will last. A little bit of oil also helps go a long way. I have used these for a while in the shop and they don’t disappoint. Of course, I have the full index...
  13. Thank You Vets!

    Thank you for your support.
  14. Need center cap advice . . .

I like the looks of this one, I’m kind of the opposite color schemes though, so it kind of fits
  15. Clicking noise when accelerating in 4 lo?

It kind of sounds like gear backlash, but it should not be that loud. I’ve never noticed it in mine and spent some time in 4-low
  16. Rubicon tires / highway driving

I have the KO2’s and drove about 3000 miles to CO and back this summer, they were great, no noticeable road noise.
  17. If you were going to be In the Telluride, Silverton, Ouray area Wheeling?

Was there in July for our first time, I’d say Silverton or Ouray, as you can get pretty much anywhere from there. We stayed in a motel in Silverton for 4 days, that was before Black Bear and Imogene we’re open, but now that they’re open, you can had to Telluride and back in a day on the trails...
  18. First Mods for a Noob

I did bumpers and winch only on my JLUR, only because they shipped it with plastic instead of the steel bumper, that’s a long story there. Otherwise, it’s stock. I plan on driving it for a while to find out what all I want to do, then prioritize from there. It’s more than capable stock the way...
  19. Had a Wreck 8-11

That sucks, but vehicles can be repaired/replaced, but looks like it faired really well. Glad to hear everyone is ok. And in your favor was that you had the dashcam.
