  1. Looks like Edelbrock is getting closer to production.

You obviously know very little about the LX/LC/LD platform.
  2. Looks like Edelbrock is getting closer to production.

Add another $6-8k and you can put an Edelbrock blower on the Hemi version!!
  3. Trail Cam from Gladiator to Wrangler

This is an unfair statement about Tazer. You're talking about adding a camera and the Tazer product is doing a whole lot more. Most of what it is doing is all about CAN bus programming that takes an incredible amount of time (and money) to reverse engineer. For those looking for a plug & play...
  4. LetzRoll new bumpers installed

I'd like these if they didn't have the stupid cut out logos. Why do all these accessory companies think you need to be a rolling billboard for them?
  5. Trail Cam from Gladiator to Wrangler

The 8.4 in my Chrysler 300 is 640x480. There's actually a key combination that you can do on the dash controls that will capture screen grabs of the display. I've done a few and they're 640x480.
  6. Looks like Edelbrock is getting closer to production.

Not big numbers, but it's a 25% gain. Want more out of the V6, put in some drop-in pistons and you can bump the boost. As somone who has lent their vehicle to Edelbrock for development work, I can say that their kit will be bulletproof. My 2012 300 SRT8 was the first 392 motor they did in...
  7. CANBUS codes

Boy, this brings back memories. I did a lot of reverse engineering on the LX platform CAN bus many years back. The best way I found for identifying the messages you're looking for is to write your software to learn what ID's and values are being transmitted, then just monitor for changed...
  8. Maximus-3 JL Roof Rack System

Did your engineers ever take a look at adding support for a high lift jack mount to the rear brackets?
  9. Sprintex & Edelbrock superchargers at SEMA

Most of these kits are going to be around 7 psi. Suprisingly, RIPP says on their site 11-12 psi for the Charger/Challenger 3.6 kit, which I think is a bit high. I've seen their kits on the LX platform vehicles and it is a quality setup putting out good power. I spoke with them at the LX Spring...
  10. White wheel recommendations

If it were me, I'd spray plastidip on the existing wheels just to get an idea of how they might look.
  11. Bright White JLUR with white top and black fenders?

I've been thinking about the white color combos a bunch as well. My thought on it is that you can easily and fairly cheaply add black fenders if you decided you didn't like the white ones, but going the other way after the fact would be much more expensive. Another thought I had was to go...
  12. Custom cargo "security" enclosure for under $100

Great build! One thought I had on the lower back panel (behind the seats) - What about attaching a turnbuckle type tensioner to the kids latch/tether points of the seats to secure them from folding forward. You could probably have the sidewalls up tight to the seats with no gap and skip the...
  13. Just another Ham Radio install (with pics)

I was going to ask the same thing, but then saw the satellite icon and APRS active, so I figured it must be working fine there. Pretty much only fiberglass above it.
  14. Auto Start Bug When Going into Park?

Here's a suggestion to the engineers/programmers.... Since this "problem" really only happens when parking, use the navigation system favorites to create geofence locations that disable ESS when you are in those locations. Problem solved!
  15. Pay for warranty work??

Please post who the dealer is that is pulling this crap.
  16. BRIGHT WHITE Wrangler JL Club

Looks great! I like those steps except for the big ugly logo!
  17. Uniden CMX-660 Installed

LOL, yeah, thinking it was a HAM radio it would likely be a problem there. 25-50 watts on a HAM doesn't take kindly to small spaces.
  18. Uniden CMX-660 Installed

Most radios don't generate much heat when only listening. The heat is generated when transmitting. If your transmit duty cycle is pretty low, it will be fine. If you're a chatterbox, it could be a problem.
