  1. Not a “build” but . . .

Chief Dan, I was able to put the jeep through it's paces during turkey season and never rubbed. I'm sure it wasn't to the extent that rock crawlers consider full articulation, but I was in some pretty tight binds in wash outs and felt fully flexed over steep terraces and never had a problem...

Not sure that I can give you an accurate answer on the lugs. I just went with what Discount Tire recommended on the lug nuts. I don’t have any recollection of the lugs being “different”. As far as the tires, they are holding up well and riding very smooth for a mud tire. I really enjoy them...
  3. JLU Rubicon on 35s no lift

Sorry to hear you’re having issues with your Yokohamas. Mine have been and continue to be great. My wife drove my Jeep for the first time this weekend and even mentioned how well it drives and handles. Sounds like your tire store just didn’t get em balanced right or you slung a weight. Take em...
  4. Not a “build” but . . .

I've never owned a Jeep. Are there any issues with the 35's at highway speeds? None
  5. Not a “build” but . . .

Go straight to 35s if you don’t plan on lifting. Otherwise lift, and go straight to 37s. switch em out right away and get top dollar for your take offs and get to enjoying the Jeep the way you want
  6. Not a “build” but . . .

Wow!! Thanks!! Did you get all the info you need?
  7. What did you PARK NEXT to in your Jeep today?

Walked out of the office yesterday to find that a white sport found me while I was working.
  8. Not a “build” but . . .

Had to fab the hitch to work with the poison spyder bumper, but there are commercial bolt on options available that work with the factory bumper
  9. Not a “build” but . . .

Short answer = I haven’t had any problems, but I’m still not sure. Long answer= I was either lucky or unfortunate, depending on how you look at it, to kill 2 bucks in 4 sits so I didn’t really get to give the Jeep a serious “season long test”. I had no issues with the areas I crossed and...

Looks like a great weekend. Get a front mount hitch so you can get the winch to help you load everything up and still use the tailgate and not have to worry about clearance issues. I’ve been set up like this on 2 different Jeeps (JK/JL) now and it works great!
  15. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Thank you. I might just have to do that. What’s there really makes no sense at all.
  16. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Which bottle console did you use? Saw a few on Amazon with mixed reviews. Does it get in the way of folding the seat all the way down?
  17. Not a “build” but . . .

I ended up not using a spacer. I initially thought I would when I had the poison spyder bumper up front and just the factory one on the the rear, but it leveled out when I put on the rear poison spyder bumper. Less than a quarter inch difference in fender gap from front to back and no rubbing...
  18. JLU Rubicon on 35s no lift

How are the Yokohamas working out?
  19. Jeep Dog pics

No boots. She just motors. Lives to fetch up ducks. She’s force fetched so she’ll hold till you take it from her. She’s a good girl and getting better each season. She just turned 3 so hopefully we’ll have many more together.
  20. Not a “build” but . . .

I genuinely hope it helps someone else. Makes the Jeep so handy. Like a Polaris ranger crew you drive to where you want to hunt. No need to gut a deer to clean. Haven’t gutted one in 20+ years
