...reads like a bait and switch to me. They advertise and supposedly sell you a vehicle that has 32.5 water fording capabilities, but instead they deliver a vehicle with only a 30 inch water fording capability...... the hell with a damn plaque, ask for a new Wrangler! haha
Generally batteries like tires have pro-rated replacement warranties involving milage or time. If the batteries are only 16 months old and they are a 36 month battery, worst case scenario is you pay part not all of the replacement.
And $800 plus for two batteries? I know batteries are more...
You hear so many stories, but until they hit close to home they usually dont make an impact. I was shocked when my ultra conservative accountant brother retired early. He said he did because our blue collar, physical labor father died 1.5 years after retiring at the age of 62. Our Mom, with...
Kind of bummer. I decided not to be a first year Bronco owner, but figured maybe 2nd or 3rd. Long time ford supporter, I should say. But I am now glad that I went a wee bit overboard on my JLUR order as it will certainly be in my ownership for probably at least 3 years now, instead of a max...
Rumors from a loved one who works in Jeep marketing department:
1. Purplish and goldish shades of color will appear with the 2022 order configurator.in December.
2. Late January, maybe early February, the Wrangler 3 option will appear - goodyear wrangler tires along with wrangler blue jeans...
Well Cara is obviously overworked or her scheduling is similar to that of the wrangler production line.
Got this late yesterday afternoon:
Yep, estimated delivery was 3 days ago, well within the 8/3 to 8/13 time frame she provided back on 8/6, and oddly consistent with the 3 day differential!
Towing: Wranglers are not exactly known for their towing. If your family doesn't have a vehicle with a tow hitch, I'd go for it. If you have anything else that has a hitch, then it's probably not worth the money. The max towing on this vehicle is not very high and it can't tow anything bigger...
This was what I received from Daniel Gupton back in May. I believe it is still accurate

Yes, moving along, it is built, just waiting for it to roll through Cincinnati and head to Tennessee.
But to complicate matters, I have commitments the next couple of weeks, so I probably wont pick it up until closer to the end of August. Obviously I had planned on a late July early August...
Packages (for Ohio):
1. cold weather
2. Trailer - tow package
4. LED Headlamp kit - yes pricey, but if you cant do it yourself, well worth it.
5. If your Jeep will be living outside, the engine block heater is a great option.
If you go with an automatic transmission:
1. Get the...
There is no scheduling madness. All that D, D1 bullshit was created in an attempt to appease customers. the reality is that the line workers meet every morning, draw VON's from a hat and decide to build either in ascending or descending order.
Simply no madness at all, they have a system, dammit!
