  1. Nevada ISO Dana 30 Pinion in 3.73

Looking to buy just the pinion for a Dana 30 geared in 3.73. I broke a few teeth on mine when I shattered the spider gears. Currently it hasn't had any issues with the 4x4 but its always in the back of my head when I go out. I'm figuring that most people/shops just end up throwing these out when...
  2. Shredded Gears or broken Axle Shaft

Followup: Upon original inalienable it was the slider gears. I ordered new gears for $103 from yon but once I pulled the diff I noticed the pinion was damaged. Time to do the full regear I guess
  3. DIY Centerforce flywheel and clutch install

I don't know which version I have, but I abuse it weekly and after busting spider gears the clutch still seems to shift well after I give it a week to settle down. To the the people that are getting the update versions for free. How do I do that?

  6. So you think you want beadlock wheels... sample of cost, time, efforts required

I've never heard of a company that doesn't suggest it. I've gone to tighten bolts on the ring and found that a few books are so loose I can hand tighten them a half run before putting the wrench on it. I'll have to check out trailready's reasoning on that. Maybe they are using some type of...
  7. So you think you want beadlock wheels... sample of cost, time, efforts required

I have these exact same tires. They are awesome. I run them at 28 on the road and 8 on the trail. People are always commenting on how they never slip. We do alot of rock crawling out here. As for the beadlocks it took me by myself about 7 hrs to do all 5. I used a rachet stap and floor jack to...

  9. Shredded Gears or broken Axle Shaft

Checked it out. No visible damage to the ujoint and no play when I jack it up and spin the tire. I did find that the front drive shaft spins freely in both directions but will occasionally get hung when rotating to the right to the point where I have to rotate into the left a few times to spin...
  10. Shredded Gears or broken Axle Shaft

This is the type of answer I was looking for. I'll check it out later today and see what I find. Thanks.
  11. Shredded Gears or broken Axle Shaft

I don't know what zebra stuff is. There is no visible damage. I'm trying to avoid pulling it apart twice. If you have any info on how to decifer what part/ parts need to be ordered without pulling it apart that would be appreciated. The u joint and ear was brought up to me by a friend and is...
  12. Shredded Gears or broken Axle Shaft

Feel into a v notch twice yesterday and trying to get back out I heard a snapping/ Kachunk a couple times then 4x4 was no longer a thing. I had to be winched back and it seemed to be in 4x4 reversing down some obstacles but when I went to cut it sharp to drive out the snapping noise occurred...
  13. Clutch problems

Mine burned up at 20k. Went with the centerforce clutch and it works great
  14. How Many Miles on Your Manual Transmission/Clutch?

This is my experience also. 20k is all it took to burn up my OEM clutch. I installed CF clutch and it worked great till yesterday when I fell into a couple v notches and gave her more than she could give. Driving home I had to force it into 1st but once rolling could engage 2, 3, 4 with a...
  15. Cost of Sport JL build vs Rubicon?

Yes, I did all the work myself. Started with a Sport S. 7k is pretty close. I have not upgraded the transfer case. Trying to find a rubi takeoff for a manual is difficult and the atlas ones are expensive. I bought my sport S for 32k and at the time couldn't find a manual rubi. The rubis I...
  16. Using a non offset wheel for my spare

Have you done it? Odds are I won't need it but want to be sure. I could mount the tire on my wheel but I'd hate to waste all that time mounting it if I don't need too and can just use a stock wheel
  17. Using a non offset wheel for my spare

I blew my side wall earlier this week and while the tire is warrantied, it will still take till the end of next week to get one shipped. I'm looking to just purchase a single used 37" tire and wheel to run as my spare this weekend. If it came on a stock wheel with no offset would it make the...
  18. Cost of Sport JL build vs Rubicon?

For me building a sport was way cheaper. Swapping the front to a 44 and lockers was the only thing "extra" I had to do to the sport. All other upgrades (lift, tires, beadlocks, fenders, bumpers, upgraded tire carrier, podlights, skid plates) I still would have done if it was a rubicon
  19. MLC-6 INTERMITTENT POWER

I have had the in dash MLC-6 for my 2019 JLU for almost 2 yrs and the last few months it has been hit or miss whether or not it will turn on. This did happen about 6 months after I purchased it, but the battery died with in a week which was the issue. This time around both batteries are good...
