  1. Terrible Experience with our JLU - Limp Mode on Trail

After 2.5 weeks in service they concluded the throttle pedal, assembly and sensor failed. They installed a new one and we'll see if it happens again.
  2. Terrible Experience with our JLU - Limp Mode on Trail

Dealer says they replicated the problem and it's a throttle position sensor failure. They have order the parts for replacement but have not given me an ETA for when it will be fixed.
  3. Terrible Experience with our JLU - Limp Mode on Trail

One week at the dealer and they are telling me they are still running "diagnostics" and haven't been able to pull the code......
  4. Terrible Experience with our JLU - Limp Mode on Trail

3 months later.... I started my JLU after work and it was in limp mode again with all the same CELs as the original issue. Brought it to the dealer and hope to have it back in a week or so.....

  6. Terrible Experience with our JLU - Limp Mode on Trail

This was a week or so ago, but I have an update to this issue. After letting the JL sit for 3 days without being driven. I hopped in it and started it up. Dash lit up the same as before when I was on trail... The idle bounced up and down very strangely. I turned it off and back on, did it...
  7. Terrible Experience with our JLU - Limp Mode on Trail

Dealer didn't do anything for me and Jeep Cares told me there's nothing to do unless it happens again... I haven't had any issues since but it's only seen pavement.
  8. Terrible Experience with our JLU - Limp Mode on Trail

Added some pics to the OP. I don't see how the dealer couldn't pull a code history either. They just sent me on my way and told me to "keep and eye on it." I wasn't going to fight them about it because I was still trying to provide a good birthday weekend for the lady and didn't want to waste...
  9. Terrible Experience with our JLU - Limp Mode on Trail

I tried turning traction control off and on. Button acted like it was disabled, nothing happened when I pushed it. I can't recall how long I held it down.
  10. Terrible Experience with our JLU - Limp Mode on Trail

I'm guessing speed sensor as well, went crazy when water from a puddle froze to it. No reason it should have went into limp mode and dealer had no solution for me.
  11. Terrible Experience with our JLU - Limp Mode on Trail

New JLU owner here with less than 1k miles. My fiance and I decided to take our new JLU Sport on a 30 mile trail up to Duluth, MN. This trail is rated as "Easy" and is mostly just a scenic dirt road. The trail had some snow and ice which made it a bit more technical but still a beginner level...
  12. JL Wrangler **Base Model Club**

Called my dealer and they said it doesn't come with even 1 spare wheel locking lug nut. They have been pretty misinformed up to this point so idk...
  13. JL Wrangler **Base Model Club**

The Sport S just says "Sport" on the side of it. She got a Sport S if she has the Alpine.
  14. JL Wrangler **Base Model Club**

I also did not receive a wheel lock kit. Are you sure the Sport gets one?
  15. JL Wrangler **Base Model Club**

    They're there. Check em out:
  16. JL Wrangler **Base Model Club**

My Sport arrived last Friday, 5 weeks after placing my order. I'm in love. It's everything I hoped it would be a much more. Finding every excuse I can to drive it. I've already gotten it dirty and have planned an off-road trip at the beginning of April. Options: LSD Trailer Tow Hardtop The...
