  1. What did you PARK NEXT to in your Jeep today?

This lot is usually too busy for a photo op, but I stopped by early today.
  2. Don't marry a short girlfriend ...

I’ve been telling my wife all year that I’m getting her these for Christmas!
  3. Beer / New & Favorites

Speaking of good stuff…. (And thanks to these photos, I guess I’ll be giving the fridge a cleaning. I use this fridge to ferment in and I had one get a little violent and overflow my blow off… foam went everywhere)
  4. Highline Type Fenders for Modest Build

I’m totally happy with them. They seem a bit smoother than the ones I took off, which I like. I can’t speak to the install. I had a shop do my work. I see no reason why it would be complicated.
  5. Highline Type Fenders for Modest Build

I wanted rubicon fenders but didn’t want to deal with the back order either. I ended up buying these MP Concepts fenders. Just keep in mind that if you go this route, they don’t come with lights, and the Willys lights won’t fit. I just chopped them.
  6. Rich Jeepers

Yep… I feel for you on this one! Sometimes I find myself not stopping the engineers from lashing out at some people.
  7. Rich Jeepers

My wife and I are in our 40s (early for me, a bit later for her). No kids, and we do pretty well for ourselves. After almost 20 years as an engineer for a mobile phone company, I jumped ship to one of their vendors to be a technical project manager. We’re not “rich” (although the government...
  8. Willys vs Rubicon vs 4 runner

I have a Willys and love it.. If I were doing it over again, knowing what I know now, I’d have a Rubicon and would love that. I can’t speak to the 4R.
  9. Willys Edition JL Club Thread

The red dash (and all the other red accents) was a factor in my decision making too. To me they feel over the top. I replaced the red hooks that came with my front bumper with my stock black ones and didn’t change the black hook in the back with the red one that came with it either.
  10. Help! After reading so many forums I’m still undecided!

I’ve got 37s on my Willys with the stock axles and gears (for now). I agree with everything that’s said here. I wouldn’t touch the 30, save the money and put a 44 in when it breaks. The gears are not that bad. I hit 6th at best on the highway. I can manually shift into 7 and 8 but it can...
  11. Jeeps parking next to Jeeps... post yours!

Found this Jeep parked next to me yesterday. I’m on the right…
  12. Ever race anyone in your jeep? Whats the reaction you get when you win?

I went light to light with a buddy the other day. Boy did I crush his dreams when his 2016 (ish?) Malibu just couldn’t hang on… I have a 2011 challenger SRT8, and I’ve all but stopped racing anybody in that. I’m not risking the potential repercussions to prove I’m still faster than a...
  13. Trying to Decide: Willy's vs. Sport Altitude

I’m a little biased… even when stock I loved my Willys.
  14. ALUMINUM bumpers ONLY. Let's see them!

They were stock LEDs out of the plastic bumper, but it’s a Willys, not a Rubicon. Not sure if there’s a difference between them.
  15. Are there any light fun trails to try in New Jersey?? The more north the better but just curious if any exist

Which we call the Turnpike… And let’s be honest, the reason for taking that drive may be enjoyable, but the drive itself sucks! Haha
  16. The New Guy.

Welcome. I thought hard about trading in my 2011 Challenger SRT8 for a 392 Wrangler. Couldn’t do it.
  17. If you were going to buy a sporty car for your wife?

My wife has gone through a bunch of sporty cars. Personally, the Lexus RC-F was my favorite of them all. I wish she kept that one.
  18. Ordered a 2021 4 door Willy's (poor mans rubicon)

Congrats and welcome to the Willys club! I was very seriously considering that color, and although I don’t really regret anything with my purchase, that’s one thing I still think about. Kinda always wanted a green Jeep... Looks like your neighbor has good taste too 😃
  19. ALUMINUM bumpers ONLY. Let's see them!

I know this answer is nearly useless but: not very thick. I don’t think this will be the best bumper for extreme conditions. I’ll try to get some measurements soon so that this answer can be a little more useful.
  20. ALUMINUM bumpers ONLY. Let's see them!

I think This Post may cover what you need. im basing that on info about the 80th anniversary editions from This Post.
