I was having trouble finding something for the uppers as well. The best I came up with so far are freedom top panel storage bags.
They are a close fit but not perfect. The bags are just right width wise...
I'm a little late, but thought I would add the ones I just put on for anyone else still looking. I was surprised no one mentioned Ruff Tuff. I have an 8 year old set on my truck, that I drive everyday to work, and they are still holding up great. Even where I slide across the seat to get in...
This surprises me. I have the max care lifetime warranty on my grand cherokee and it's an exclusionary coverage, which means it only spells out things that are not covered. So if it's not listed then it's covered. I guess I thought all the max care products were this way. By the way I've...
Did you purchase this warranty when you bought your jeep or did you get it a latter date. I'm in the process of canceling the extended warranty the dealer sold me. I told them I wanted the max care and they sold me some asset protection plan.😒
So I'm a little curious, how did someone end up with half doors that didn't want them?
Did you get them at a discount or pay a premuim for them, aka more or less than factory option?
Either way, congratulations, good job!
This sounds sounds like an excellent explanation of why their are different experiences with the LSD. I get it that slipping clutches wear out. I guess the real issue is, clutch based LSD's are not very durable and that's what Jeep uses. This is why I put Detroit true-tracs(front & rear) in my...
I would be curious about this as well. I know older jeeps/TJ's LSD were not considered very durable/longevity. Are people having the newer LSD's wear out or is it just old school sentiment that they are junk?
Congrats. I would get something to protect the rear fenders from the debris that the front wheels will throw back at them. I didn't even get mine home from dealer without getting some rock chips on front side of rear fender flares.
Definitely good thing to have. I didn't even get mine home from dealer without getting some rock chips on the front side of rear fenders. I even already had mud flaps and running boards at home waiting to be put on.
This is a little disappointing. I was really hoping they would work much better than the old best top 2 piece soft doors I had for my TJ. Looks like I will be running my full doors too when I make the trip to Colorado & Moab.
