  1. Tazer (Programmer) for the JL

We live way out in the country here in Wyoming, and this is one of the feature we use every time we drive at night. Wildlife is abundant here! You don’t just see a few deer or antelope when you take a drive at night. It’s nothing for us to see 100 plus just on a trip into town. That’s about 10...
  2. Tazer (Programmer) for the JL

I haven’t updated mine in about a year! Not exactly sure which firmware I have on it, but everything works just fine. I do use the live features, so since everything I use works I really see no need to update it every time a new firmware update is released. Well worth purchasing. I believe...
  3. 3.6L Block Heater Cord

I really disliked having to open the hood every time I needed to plug in the Jeep during the cold Wyoming winters. Not sure why the cord wasn’t routed somewhere up front. Tried rerouting it, but it was just too short. Today I added a cord and mounted it to the front bumper. Now it really easy to...
  4. Do not ever EVER forget to unpair your Tazer, you WILL pay

What a waste of a thread! Their policy has been in place for sometime now. If you don’t want to pay the price for something you messed up then don’t. Like you said, you can always pay the dealers price to have your Jeep reprogrammed if you ever need it.
  5. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Changed oil & filter. Rotated the tires, and replaced the air filter. Getting it all ready for the warmer weather.
  6. COVID-19 working from home..

I’ve been working at home for months, but that’s because I’m retired. Like everyone else, I’m ready for this to be over with. Can’t wait till it stops snowing here in Wyoming.
  7. Jeep dogs in quarantine.

Rocket, MiLo and Yogi. They don’t know anything about a quarantine here in Wyoming. And, were hoping it stays that way.
  8. Knock in rear with Dana 44

Any modifications to your Jeep? Mine came from the dealership with a lift and 35x12.5R18 BFG K02 tires.
  9. Sun Visor Broken

Dealer replaced the passenger side visor when it was in for a rotational knock. All is well again!
  10. Why did you buy a Jeep?

I always wanted one! Just never really needed one until we moved to Wyoming. After moving here and seeing all the trails in the mountains and back roads we decided we needed something that had a short wheel base that could handle the rough roads and trails. Of course it had to be 4 wheel drive...
  11. Knock in rear with Dana 44

When it first started it felt like there was something stuck in one of the tires when you let off the gas. First time it happened we were only going about 35mph. Pulled over and inspected all the tires and couldn’t find anything wrong. As long as I had my foot in the peddle it was a smooth ride...
  12. Knock in rear with Dana 44

Picked my Jeep up this morning. Took it for a long ride and it seems as tho the rotational knock is gone. Rides like it did when I first purchased it a year and a half ago. I was under the impression that they were replacing the rear axles, but I was incorrect. They actually replaced the front...
  13. Knock in rear with Dana 44

Our Jeep dealer called while I was outside working. Said it’s fixed and drives just like new. Don’t have enough time to get there before they close, so we’ll pick it up sometime tomorrow. It will be so nice to have it back to where it was when we first got it. It something that I really enjoy...
  14. Knock in rear with Dana 44

First time we dropped it off I believe was in early October. They replace they drive shafts. That didn’t fix it so the ordered a transfer case which I believe came in sometime in late October. I had surgery so couldn’t take it in till early January. Dealership called me on the 23rd and said it...
  15. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Dropped it off at the dealership to have the rear axles replaced! Hopefully later this week it will be all fixed and ready to go for the summer.
  16. Sun Visor Broken

Our Jeep will get dropped off at the dealership on Monday for a rotational knock. They are also going to replace the passenger side visor while it’s in for maintenance.
  17. Knock in rear with Dana 44

All the parts came in for my Jeep, so we’ll be dropping it off Monday.
  18. Knock in rear with Dana 44

My Jeep has been in twice for a rotational knock. First time they replaced the drive shafts. Second time was the transfer case. They’ve ordered new rear axles, which came in and now I believe the only thing they are waiting on is the rear bearings. My dealership has been great to work with...
  19. Air Helper Bags

I already have a good digital gauge, so I’m good to go on that part. My large tires rub on the back if I haul my trail with much weight, so 10-15 should be good to keep it from squatting down. 7 sounds great when empty. Thanks for the advice!!
