    Getting louder, I love them!!!!!

    Already missing the snow-
  3. 40" Pro-xs, 3.5" Game Changer and Beadlocks on...

My Mud Grapplers were louder, I love these tires. If it sits for a long time, it will drive wobbly for a couple of miles, but once you get a couple miles on them they are fine. Than only happens if I dont drive it for a couple of days. For what these tires are, they drive very good on the road.
  4. 40" Pro-xs, 3.5" Game Changer and Beadlocks on...

Just got it built and moved from ID to Fl. Haven't driven it much or been off road. I can tell you in snow, these tires have ridiculous grip!

    20K, I WISH! 33K and counting! Can I mow someone's lawn for a couple extra bucks?🥴
  6. 40" Pro-xs, 3.5" Game Changer and Beadlocks on...

Well, it took 3 months to get it done due to the parts coming in slowly, but its done. These are extremely aggressive tires and took balancing beads and 13 ounces of weights, but the Jeep drives outstanding on road. I am FLOORED by the performance and the LOW END TORQUE of this little turbo...
  7. MT Pro XS and snow.......

We escaped CA back in August and moved to Eagle ID. I wanted to move to a place with 4 seasons and build yet another Jeep. I have been waiting for the first big snow my first winter here, it finally came today. I am FLOORED how these Mickeys perform in snow. It's unfair to the snow how grippy...
  8. 40'S on your JL

I'm no pro or offroad guru by any means, not even close, but I've done some semi hard trails (John Bull most recent) and go easy on the gas and bump carefully. Can it happen, sure. I've never had an issue over 10 years and 6 rigs. Maybe I'm lucky, or maybe its paying attention to my lines and...
  9. 40'S on your JL

Thank you. They are the Mickey Thompson Pro XS. They are gnarley in person and super, super soft compound. They drive really good for how aggressive they are. The fender delete kit is the American Adventure Labs set up. I'm running the Metalcloak 3.5 and needed more clearance. I have the Truss...
  10. 40'S on your JL

Here's mine. I just got it back after 1.5 months in the shop. Maximus loves to sell racks and not tell you the mounting hardware is 3 months out. I am still waiting for a ton of parts (Ram, 2nd set of A pilar baja's, RCV's, Maximus low profile roof rack and ladder). I will do a build thread once...
  11. Mickey Thompson Baja Pro XS

That's probably a good call in your situation. These tires aren't going to last like a Trail Grappler or Open Country. I work out of the house and dont drive a lot so not a big concern for me, but if I were in your shoes and you do a lot of driving, I dont think these would last. A lot of guys...
  12. Mickey Thompson Baja Pro XS

So I dropped my rigg off today to have the alignment double checked. I've got less than 100 miles on it since pick up, but I thought it couldn't hurt to double check and see where the original shops alignment specs were. I was running the tires at 25 PSI. Well both the Caster and Toe were off...
  13. Mickey Thompson Baja Pro XS

That's where I was thrown off too, I swear I read they were the radial version of the pro X. That's what made me pick them. I'm still floored they're biased ply. Overall I'm very happy with them. For me, they very livable on a daily basis. I have ram assist coming for it, so that'll help with...
  14. Mickey Thompson Baja Pro XS

Well, this is one for the books. After building 6 of these rigs, running everything from Mtz's, Trail Grapplers, Mud Grapplers, Open Country's, etc. I just called MT, these ARE bias Ply tires. I dont know why the hell I thought they were radials. I guess my wife is right, I AM a...
  15. Mickey Thompson Baja Pro XS

The pro xs is a radial, the pro x is bias ply. The tires are within spec, so it's not a bad tire. Just very aggressive, and one thing I noticed yesterday, super, super soft Compound.
  16. Florida Roll Call!

Thank you, I appreciate it. It's good to hear the Jeep will fit in. I know there's a lot of Jeepers in FL. Looking forward to living at the beach again.
  17. Florida Roll Call!

I escaped CA 5 months ago (Dana Point), and moved to Eagle ID. As nice as the people are here, we feel isolated and just dont like it. Coming from the beach, my girl is having a hard time dealing with the gloomy winters and short days. We have 3 Month old house going on market, moving to Naples...
  18. Mickey Thompson Baja Pro XS

I never did get the specs on alignment, the shop owner keeps blaming the tires, but we'll soon find out. These are Radials, not biased ply, so the jeep should run much straighter than it does.
