Lol, thanks! Sorry about your Jeeping buddy :( Scarlett only jumped out once, and that's because a chair I was moving for my daughter fell over and smacked her in the butt! Luckily, I was doing about 5mph when she launched out the window.
It looks like I'm going to be waiting for the color I want, so hopefully I'll get a chance to drive one, and take the back seat out... do you think they'll let me take the boss with me for the test drive?
I'm curious too if the $4k for the diesel option includes the $1780 for the auto transmission, because that's the only option? I believe a lot of people wanting the diesel would opt for the 6spd manual if they could. That basically makes the diesel a ~$6k option!?
I presently have a 2014 JKUR, and sometimes think it's just too big for my needs. I really want a 2 door JL, but worry that it'll be too small. I have no need for the back seat, and although I can't find pictures with the back seat removed, I know it's possible. Anyone have experience with this...
I want to drive a 6 speed 2 door to know if it's really what I want. Anyone know if the power top is available in a 2 door? I also want to see all the colors. It's going to be hard to replace my Anvil.

Things appear to be different. AEV lifts include a raised rear track bar bracket. From the videos I've seen, the JL has a much higher track bar mounting than the JK. This makes me think the suspension geometry has been adjusted, and that other things are probably also different.
