  1. Mickey Thompson Baja Pro XS

Buddy of mine trying to sell me a set of these at a great price. Can’t decide. I’m a realtor so I drive a lot! Currently running the Baja boss 37 12.5. Rubicon gears have been fine thus far. Y’all running stock gearing with these 38 13.5 XS’s?
  2. DIY Metalcloak 3.5" Game Changer Lift Install and Review

You can order one and install same time. The lift seems to affect geometry of each Jeep Differently a bit. Best way for Adam’s to ensure their driveshafts don’t end up coming back to them. Just tell them you want to install at same time. I installed same time and the length shaft they gave me...
  3. DIY Metalcloak 3.5" Game Changer Lift Install and Review

On the JL you really need to go ahead and change the DS. Know several people local that didn’t. Theirs tore up normal driving. Potholes and such. I went ahead and replaced mine with Adam’s ds when I installed the mc 3.5 GC. Very easy and not very expensive. Cheaper than mc one I think. With JK...
  4. Normal noises for a 2.0?

Going to post a video of mine in the morning. It sounds crazy lol. Performs great except for the 13mpg ha - 3.5 lift and 37’s mixed driving medium heavy foot in town and 75 or so on interstate. About to change oil again. Let dealership do it first time as you get the free changes etc, but...
  5. Help me find the right Shocks for MetalCloak 3.5" Game-Changer Kit

I’ve been running the MC 3.5” GC Rocksport on my 2020 JLUR for about 17k miles. Had same lift on my JKU. At 17k mikes though, my rocksports are done. The one on my JKU dampened like new after 30k miles. BUT....they’re less than $300 and give you the flex MC is known for and a great on road...
  6. 3 Offroad shops have stirred me away from Metalcloak to Teraflex suspension due to much better warranty service

Most shops make less on metal cloak unless you are an auth dealer. Highest profit margin on lift kits, at least from the 3 shops I know of, are teraflex. Shops seem to be an RK or nothing, teraflex is all I’d buy, blah blah. I like a shop that will sell whatever you want. Based on your needs...
  7. Hole in the exhaust resinator.

Know this is old. Just noticed the hole on mine today. Black exhaust stain shooting out from each side.
  8. Few shock option questions....lengths etc...Fox and Radflow

that’s how I’ll be running any shock I put on mine with current setup.
  9. Getting the MetalCloak Gamechanger lift installed

I tried the synergy stud with my JK. 3 of them. The little button bolt that holds the dampener to the TB bolt is VERY soft. Even torqued to exact specs, using high quality exact fit bit, still deforms. I’ve had to cut two off. Just FYI.
  10. Getting the MetalCloak Gamechanger lift installed

I’m trying to decide which shocks to go with next. Daily Driver but like to go at it hard when off-roading 2 or so times a month. MC GC 3.5 with Rocksports currently. 17k miles. Rocksports getting a bit soft. Fine for me but making wife car sick. So, wanting a firmer ride but not so much that...
  11. Few shock option questions....lengths etc...Fox and Radflow

Nice! How do they feel/drive on road?
  12. Creaking Doors...anyone?

Mine still just a creaking away lol. I’d also place a large wager that the design of the door stop, and the manner in with they can apply force to a section of inner door held to the aluminum skin with adhesive. Door check apples pressure when door is pushed open all the way, in turn causing the...
  13. Few shock option questions....lengths etc...Fox and Radflow

Hey all, I’ve got a 2020 JLUR with a 3.5 Metalcloak Gamechanger with Rocksports currently. Great shock especially for the price. I have about 17k miles on them now. Hard use on and off road. Starting to feel a difference in them. Not complaining it all, just looking at options! I’m...
  14. Creaking Doors...anyone?

Mine just keeps getting louder lol. I’m in and out of my Jeep a LOT though as a Realtor and I also off-road a lot. Passenger side door does it as well just not as loud. My guess is the door checks (first time on the wrangler) put more pressure on the internal structure than It’s adherence to...
  15. Steering issues cured by installing new Steering gear box! (per TSB 08-074-20)

I’d just get a set of adjustable lowers. JL’s love caster. If it is pulling that hard right I’d swap tires around and if that doesn’t correct I’d contact Jeep customer care. May be that they’d help authorize the longer mopar arms or something. They definitely helped me out. I actually got...
  16. Anyone have 2.0 Turbo regret?

I’m really enjoying mine. Hope they prove reliable long term! Second favorite Jeep engine since the 4.0.
  17. Steering issues cured by installing new Steering gear box! (per TSB 08-074-20)

Hey thanks! They are Quadratec Baja somethingorother. Lol. You’ll see them. I’ve been very happy with them. They weren’t expensive, and my tires hold bead all the way down to about 12psi before feeling wonky. 37x12.5r17
  18. New Steering Gear Box

do you know what your toe is set at? If not in enough they will go out more and change feel of steering. I like between 1/8-1/4 total toe in. Had my box out in last night. They aligned. I can tell to isn’t where I want it already. Just have to find to go redo. Box feels tight though.
  19. Steering issues cured by installing new Steering gear box! (per TSB 08-074-20)

Seems when I read the TSB the last instructions were different for 18-19 vs 20. But the 20 already had the update and the upgraded aluminum box maybe?
