Hope everyone been doing good. Work has been insane here, we are so short staffed. Figured price of steel is through the roof but they won’t put more guys on my line to work the cokeovens
Finally got around to getting my lift transferred over. The wider axles are causing a bit of...
Hahahaha it’s something eh! I have the original L82 hood for as well but this one was with the car and after a little research I found out it’s a limited production Vanacor corvette summer hood. Company went under years ago when the owners son came in and shot up the place killing his father...
It’s actually scares me! When the motor was freshly built it was dyno’d at 492hp, figure she’s close to 500 now it’s broken in. Such a light car and sitting on coil overs, it will plant that power hard or break loose in a blink of an eye
Lol she’s a 76, last year of the stingray and the year of the Chevy Vega steering wheel hahaha
Previous owner did a number on this car, C5 flags up front, C4 lettering on the back and had wood screws holding what was left of the car together
He tired to put a old B&M ratchet shifter in it and...
It’s a little Euro feeling but it has enough flow while fitting under a stock cowl hood. I tried a few drop bases on it when I first built the car but the bowls are so big on the carb they wouldn’t sit low enough to clear the hood
Thanks mike! Hahaha I’m on shift or she be in the shop already
Have to get the eww car out of the shop this weekend. Least she’s only in for a fuel pump relocate. Kept getting heat soaked wheee I originally mounted it, damn side pipes
Odd that the shop couldn’t figure out that bow. Few quick measurements and adjustments will solve that slight bow
Shop probably just went by the starting measurements but never properly aligned after the lift was on and settled. Every Jeep is slightly different and may need a tweak here and...
hahaha almost! Was a good ride, and was nice not being the trail guide for once. Guy running it wasn’t the best so it was slow but fun nonetheless
The orange rubi got spotted bad and ended up sliding into a tree taking the turn signal out
Hey so sorry didn’t see this till this morning!
Ive been a big fan of RK over the last few years, they have a great ride quality and still flex out and wheel amazing
AEV makes a good kit that’s overland geared so will perform well on back roads and dunes
Teraflex has left a bad taste with me...
hey, that’s strange that bothfront and rear have a bow
My coils have been great, no bow or lean at all. Have you reached out to RK themselves? They are awesome to work with and can help troubleshoot what’s happening
