  1. Adding Daytime Running Lights - 2021 Willys

Personally I am not a fan of DRL's. There is nothing worse then coming up from behind another vehicle in inclement weather and not realizing they are there because they have no tail lights. They never seem to realize they are a hazard because they only have DRL's. I believe it is safer to run...
  2. JLUR battery flatlining when flat towing

There is a small misunderstanding. I have a CoolTech harness installed and it works fine except for the LED battery drain. I am asking where the "magical solution" installs in relation to the existing harness.
  3. JLUR battery flatlining when flat towing

How about a bit of information on where the kit installs before I close up all my trim.
  4. Connector for wiring of 3rd brake light?

After moving mine and installing a Mopar third brake light on the spare I chose to cut my extended bake light cable and add a plug inline. This let me leave the original plug always connected to the tail light which makes taking it off for tire rotations, flats, etc. much easier. And the plug...
  5. Any thoughts on these options: Stop-Start Dual Battery System & Special Scheduling Condition VII ?

The "second" battery holds the information of what your jeep is doing when the Stop-Start feature kicks in and turns off your engine. Get a dual battery Genesis system and you will be better off in the long run.
  6. Big driving improvement after LCA swap

Yep, as long as you have a torque wrench and some muscle.
  7. Introducing *NEW* Bi-LED Projector Headlights for JL Wrangler & Gladiator

And will there be a heated version?
  8. Stop radio (XM) from auto-playing upon start?

I feel your pain. I have been thinking about disconnecting the XM antenna in the hope it solves this issue.
  9. Connection for portable ARB twin compressor without having to open hood

I went with the M.O.R.E. mount on the wall behind the driver. I just was not comfortable with any of the below the seat mounts. To awkward to get to if issues arise.
  10. Connection for portable ARB twin compressor without having to open hood

I should of used more paragraph returns. I do no have an Anderson Plug, I was just suggesting that you could go that route. My winch and air compressor are both tied to a solenoid controlled by Aux4. My air compressor is mounted inside behind the driver's seat. I figured since I am always out...
  11. Connection for portable ARB twin compressor without having to open hood

Mine is wired with both the winch and air compressor working off the solenoid wired to Aux 4. I, like you, believe I will never need to run them at the same time. You could mount an Anderson Plug to the front bumper and only bring out the air compressor when you need it. You could also hook the...
  12. Towing a lifted Jeep

As long as the proper angle of the tow bar manufacturer is meet you will be okay.
  13. New JL Steering Issue TSB 08-074-20 (for "Improved Steering Feel")

Have you thought about replacing your LCA's, worked for me. https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/big-driving-improvement-after-lca-swap.54439/
  14. Off Road Pages in instrument console

While the instrument console settings feel changeling to set up I would think that is where you need to focus your energy. I have a 7" screen with no active SiriusXM subscription and my Off Road pages work. While I haven't knowingly taken a radio update my Off Road pages have worked from day...
  15. Set OEM LEDs always ON (Except Headlights) in AUTO

And so do I, these are the instructions to get around the light sensor on a Rubicon.
  16. Set OEM LEDs always ON (Except Headlights) in AUTO

I can get you there 2/3 of the way. The problem is no halo's, just fog lights, tail lights and headlights. Sorry, no pictures, did it a couple of years ago. You need to go to the dealer and order the dash piece circled for a Jeep Sport. Pop the similar piece out of your dash. It will have a...
  17. ALUMINUM bumpers ONLY. Let's see them!

I think it depends on why you want an aluminum bumper. I tow and wheel so I wanted to shed weight but not have a traditional tow point attached (too low to the ground and no recessed winch) to the frame. I also promised my better half that the JL would still look nice and not need a stirrup to...
  18. Flat-tow Set-up

What I have done to my aluminum Rock Hard 4x4 bumper. I added housings for the brake away cable and the tow umbilical cable. This is much cleaner looking and keeps me off my knees.
