  1. List of Chrysler MS-12991 Engine Oil for the 3.0 EcoDiesel Jeep Wrangler

I sent Amsoil an email hoping it met spec and just hadn't been added but they said nope. What is the bother of hunting down this special oil if the dealer is gonna fill it with T6 anyway? I can get that anywhere. I'm calling my dealer tomorrow to see what they are using.
  2. DEF Usage

We topped mine off out of the jug that came with it. Filled it till it ran out the top.
  3. DEF Usage

Mine appears to be on track to run out about the time oil life is out. I have 3.000 miles on it, 70% oil life and about 3/4 tank of DEF.
  4. List of Chrysler MS-12991 Engine Oil for the 3.0 EcoDiesel Jeep Wrangler

Got this reply from the Mobil folks today: John, Thanks for writing to us. I'm sorry to say that I currently have no products meeting the MS-12991 spec. Last year's Ecodiesel in platforms like the Grand Cherokee and the Ram 1500 called for 5W-40 oils meeting Cummins CES 20081 or Chrysler...
  5. Moving Jeep While Door is Ajar - Trans Goes to Park???

Go to junkyard, find male end of a seat belt that will fit, cut it loose and pay for it. Use it to drive with when you don’t want to wear belt. Not that I would condone such activity.
  6. List of Chrysler MS-12991 Engine Oil for the 3.0 EcoDiesel Jeep Wrangler

Talked to a Valvoline tech yday. He said the MST has been discontinued but the European Car Formula meets the MS-12991 spec. They are working on getting it on the label now. I had no idea how difficult it would be to find "on the shelf" oil for this thing.
  7. Alternative filler neck for large diesel nozzles?

Nothing like buying a $60k Jeep and having to correct a factory blunder. Nice job, this is a must do mod for me
  8. Still have rake after level kit

I think I’ll start a thread where everyone can post their center of wheel to flare measurements stock and after any mods. Would make for some good data
  9. Still have rake after level kit

Good idea. I’ve measured at the rock rails and I’m down 3/4” at the front
  10. Still have rake after level kit

I gotcha. Wish I would have measured before winch so I could see what I lost.
  11. Still have rake after level kit

I don’t think my flares are on the same plane. JLUR EcoDiesel. Put a winch and winch plate on it and it squatted a bit up front. Thinking about a Dayster 1.5” in front and 3/4” in rear so I can do 35’s on factory wheels. Just want to pull good measurements
  12. Still have rake after level kit

Where are you guys pulling your measurements from? I"m using the front and rear of rock rails but would like points closer to front and rear of the jeep
  13. Dealers...OMG

Do yourself a favor and check out the Hot Springs ORV park while you are that close. Great place to try out your new ride. Trails mild to wild
  14. 3.0 MODS - Show em off

Simple. Only wire run were the positive and negative battery leads. Remote is wireless but has a cord in case of battery drain emergencies I assume. No need to use Aux switches.
  15. Alternative filler neck for large diesel nozzles?

Sorry sir, I was incorrect. Have you had a chance to dissect it?
  16. Fuel Filler Discriminator, Ecodiesel

Help each other, what jeepin is all about.
  17. 3.0 MODS - Show em off

Nothing close to what you guys have going on but I did hang a winch Saturday.
